I am used to switch off what is not in use. Left hand side is the De-constructor and opposite the adv. Constructor. To comment on what @Kieve , @Track Driver , @binhthuy71 the others had said: The Base was build in SP about a 2 month ago. Whatever the case is here with placing 24 Cargo Boxes and the CP counts 26 is surely not worth the time of the Devs. Therefore thank you for your time.
I DID Nothing so far. Bat now I go into the old game, "kill" all plants in my Base, save it to BP or better update the existing one and start a new game - helping the Bug hunters hunt down the buggers in our beloved EGS. Here a few pictures from inside my Base with lights switched ON
My question was is this De-constructor in the same group with the constructor, because in "Statistics" it says "Constructors - 1", and in "Devices" it's "Constructor - 2"...
Ah. Yes. By using Autogroup the De-Constructor is placed together with the Constructor in the same Group - and eventually an oversight by EGS that it is not listed properly in the Statistics.
Well, I got another project completed. There are still a lot of refits and new builds I have yet to finish. For now though, I am pleased to have finished another of my starting bases, primarily wood construction. The Frontier Perch https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1553295763 Let's see. I have finished the wood starter base for two of my collections now, the third wood starter base I have been using unfinished in my survival games. So I just need to detail and share the third, which would only leave one more after that to complete my planned wood starting bases.
You can change the size class in the playfields folder in the playfield_dynamic.yaml file for the starter planet that you want to change. Near the top where it says something like Size 3, just change the 3 to a 4 or a 5. I'm not home atm so I can't tell you the exact text to change but it's pretty easy to see. Note that this is changing a default playfield and your changes may get overwritten by updates (should only affect new games)
Today saw a new start on the Arid Planet, this time a bit different to the Routine I normally run through before leaving the Starter Planet. This time I said "Screw it!" and I went forward with Base Building. Away with Imperial-inspired stuff and straight towards something that will look like an Industrial Complex - hence the name CORPORATION HQ. As always I play SP/Survival so Building stops from time to time to find Material. Pics made at night to check passive light effects Three more at Day Break
Side note, you can always place it outside, make it part of the decorations. It's what I did on one of my builds.
Your afterthought is better than most of my stuff. If I forget to leave room for the warp drive then it gets tied to the roof. If it's good enough for grandma then it's good enough for a warp drive.
There's an idea. I don't think it would work very well with this build though. I could switch the artillery guns to non-retractable versions and place it in one of the nacelles but that doesn't leave any room for armor. There's space in the primary hull but then I lose a couple decks and it's a small build. I can't get rid of the hangar because that's the only way to get into the ship. I'm going to have make the hull bigger I think. Lengthen it. Edit: I lengthened the hull/made a few minor changes. Got to keep the retractable turrets, made room for the warp drive in one of the nacelles without having to give anything up, and I ended up with more space to play with in the main hull. Win!
