LOVE the hot metal plates in there! This station is going to be so awesome and I can't wait to see it!
How logic is that? Looting a Very Rare Alien Loot Container and getting ... a Epic Drill! Found today in a Abandoned Mine.
Today I published a build to the workshop for the first time. The "Olea-class Light Modular Shuttle". I'd love to hear your feedback! Things learned during this build are going to be incorporated into my next, a small early game CV with one or two SV bays. Spoiler: Screenshots This started out as a quick early-game small vessel in survival mode for getting around quickly with a few friends. Partway through construction, one of the party members came back from a POI raid with a short-range warp core and asked, "will it fit?". I liked the result enough that I think I ended up spending 5x the amount of time making minor adjustments and texturing as I did on the original build. This one is all light steel with low resource requirements. There are two more variants basically complete that I'll be publishing soon, an "advanced" variant, and a militarized variant. You can catch a glimpse of these in a couple of the screenshots on the steam page. Link below for anyone interested. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1753011245
I didn't make a lot of progress today. Worked on the warp core a little bit. Not sure if I'll keep it or not yet. Spoiler I added a conveyor output from the constructor that leads to a crane and a couple modular shipping containers that are being assembled. A shot of the production line in low light.
Like what your doing there. One suggestion place some deco items on the conveyor out of the production line.
Been there. Got over halfway done with one then decided I actually hated it so much that I simply restarted the game.
Converting another awesome workshop build into a factory POI for my scenario. Adding some assembly type stuff to one of the rooms to make it look like a factory that produces thrusters, cargo boxes, etc.
I used one of the emissive textures and painted it orange. I also hid some orange colored lights inside the conveyor machinery and in the furnace area. That's what gives off the extra glow.
Question to all those Professionals here: Can I copy a Color Palette? I mean one someone else has created?
Yup! In the color pallete screen, select all the colors with shift-click and click copy. Then go to your other structure, open the color pallete and select all the colors and click paste. You can also paste the color code into a text document.
