The ability to move inventory over long distances between builds that are equipped with teleport stations. If they can transport a person they should be able to send inanimate objects...
Aye, but I was thinking of when you have a bunch of materials at your BA and the BA is in a different system. Now you can fly back to the BA and get it, but it would be easier if the teleporter allowed you to beam it directly to the CV. It gets worse if you have weights turned on and the BA has more storage space than the CV.
If you play without M/V ... as most Player does...you can Teleport with all stuff within your Backpack. But yes, I see your point. I believe it was suggested several times now.
I don't know that "most" players play without M/V, but maybe I'm wrong. Personally I enjoy the added challenge, no longer can I disassemble a large Zirax POI and pack it all into a hover vessel the size of a Volkswagen Beetle I don't know that I'd call this my "most wanted quality of life feature", but I'd like to be able to tell my turrets at what range to engage certain targets. There are times when I'm doing something and I have the turrets set to engage predators for protection. I'd like to be able to tell them "engage predators that are closer than 50 meters", while still shoot drones at maximum range. I don't need them continually shooting at bugs 200 meters away that they will never hit because the bugs are partially obscured by terrain, trees, etc. Even if they miss or don't have time to kill a predator that close, at least I'll have enough warning to do something.
Looted corpses de-spawn faster than ones that still have items. The detector gains the ability to find corpses, so you can find the critters the BA's turrets blasted easier.
I'd like my toolbar setup to persist over respawns. No, I don't mean "keep the items on my toolbar". I'm aware of that setting but I prefer losing my stuff when I die, and that's not what I mean by this. The part that's annoying me is to have to re-setup the toolbar after I recover my items from the dropped backpack. Could you make it so, that if I don't possess the item on my toolbar then gray out that button but don't remove it. When I get that kind of item back then enable the button automatically again. I want to have to go and get my stuff back when I respawn but I don't want to redo my toolbar.
Here is my list 1. Crouch 2. Re-set up toolbar when looting corpse 3. Set HV as home spawn point when you have a clone chamber
SCRAP DEALERS! Tired of gathering wreckage parts everywhere and not having someone to buy them? Look no more. With the scrap traders you can now sell steel blocks, generators, RCS, Fuel and Gas tanks, thrusters, antennas and whatnot. We could have more than one trader, one for CV parts, other for Base parts, etc. It'd make wreckage scavenging much more exciting.
Actually that’s a good idea I like that and makes sense as another option rather than just leaving those parts or deconstructing them
It's probably been brought up before, but in addition to stuffing the virtual factory full of goods, why not let us buy ships from a shipyard? It'd definitely make trade grinding worth the effort if there's a big goal at the end to spend the money on. Then spawn the ship off to the side of the POI or something when it's done. Or even better, come up with a way to see the ship being built once you've paid for one.
ok heres one, in the turrets options it says creatures/drones/players....so if you are in a pvp area...and a friend comes to help kill an NPC. and this friend isnt in your faction, your turrets will shoot him, so you have to disable that option. but disabling it stops the turrets firing at space drones which could be attacking, so you see why this needs re-thinking
V 1.5 Revision: 1. The Ability to Manually Assign/Reassign weapons/tools in Vehicles. I'd love to be able to set my Scanner to the #1 slot, and stop wasting volleys of rockets because I looked at something else, and it jumps back to the #1 toolbar item automatically. 2. Tool/Drill turret access from either the Toolbar or Hotkey, rather than having to go into the menu, scroll through devices, find the Drill or Tool turret, click the button to take control of it, set the mode correctly then use it. Simply activating it from the toolbar should be the equivalent of most of this. 3. Always having to change the mode of a Tool Turret. Our survival tool remember what mode it was in. Our Drill remembers what mode it was it. Our vastly more expensive and elaborate Tool and Drill turrets cannot. What? Find me a Talon software engineer to write some custom firmware.
1. Probably been mentioned before but the option in setup to be able to actually capture enemy ships and use them rather than the message that currently comes up 2. As above scrap dealer/ ship salesman, would work well with 1 even if it was like a bounty reward paid for capturing certain ships. Also means possibly some more interesting poi’s 3. I’ll come back to this one
