1. Prioritize fixing all the "Known/Tracked Issues/Backlog" in the Bugs section. Get the team together for a meeting so everyone has input. Sort the list by estimated amount of time everyone thinks they'll each take. Then also mark them by high, mid, & low priority. Devote certain timespans to focus on the highest priority & oldest ones that need strong attention... But then ALSO devote certain timespans or workers (like an hour every day, or one day of the week... or maybe one or two particular people with the right skills) to knock out a bunch of the ones that'll only take a few minutes/couple hours to fix. Many of these very simple things have waited for YEARS, to be given only a few minutes to hours of time. Just.... finally get them over with? :') (Or alternatively, everyone just starts with the fastest tasks & move your ways up the list. People can call dibs on whatever they want to do, do it, cross it off the list, pick the next. This'll get sheer numbers done even faster! Bam bam bam! Just a couple work days & the list will already shrink dramatically!) The queue will shorten so nice & quickly with either method, so after a while the workload will feel way less overwhelming. Over time, you'll all be able to look at how much shorter the list quickly gets & realize you're actually getting caught up! It might really help boost everyone's morale. And us players will be more & more relieved & happy as so many old problems are quickly solved! 2. Just do #1. 3. Just please, please, pretty please do #1. There's no sense in adding fancy rims & a double-deck spoiler & custom paint & decals & big spinner tires & hydraulic lifts... to a car that takes 12 tries to start, sputters & stalls all the time, with brakes that only sometimes work & it's leaking oil like a waterfall. Get this game actually working properly, THEN we can add goodies & make it look nice.
Just a random spot any where in the galaxy it would start you on. It could be an earth like planet all the way to a lava planet with 4g of gravity and you have to survive and get off the planet. Or even a moon. That would be awesome. It would still have the random POIs and random resources. You would start with light armor and a few supplies to get you started and protect you for say 15 minutes. Then your on your own to survive.
Buyable ships at shipyards. I know most players make their own and there's the Spawner feature where you fire in all the junk and spawn a your chosen chariot after the wait time, but it's not the same, a carpark full of Small Vessels and Hovers, and in space a few CV's for sale at the shipyard, then the player could get his eye on one and set about working towards the readies to make her/his first big purchase. Perhaps the shipyard might take a part exchange on an old (unrequired) ship too... obviously at a rip off price!
After literally years of playing Empyrion, some of my top 3 remain the same: 1. The ability to walk around on moving ships. I know Eleon have said it's pretty much impossible, but man, that would add so much to the gameplay and unlock so many new game mechanics for co-op. An absolute top want of mine. Sitting in a passenger seat whilst your friend pilots is dull dull dull. 2. A block prediction list. Simply a new category in block selection that shows all the blocks that will seamlessly connect with the currently looked at block. So often I am searching for a block that I know exists, but cannot find. I attempt to use various other blocks and then just settle. 3. Wifi link to personal constructors or some other solution, so you can build your first base without having to truck back and forward with 5 blocks at a time to the personal constructor. It's just a needless chore.
For your 3rd request it actually exists. Sort of. If you have a constructor connected to the inventory you are accessing, in the top right corner I believe is an icon that will take you to the constructor. It's only for base and ship constructors, but a base is pretty easy to get started.
