Fixed Surface drill causes terrain to form [6425]

Summary: Drilling surface ores and rocks causes terrain behind to rise.

Description: I used a drill and mined a few surface ores(iron, silicon, copper). After it was drilled the terrain behind the ore moved higher, as if I teraformed it, even though I didn't. I drilled an oversized rock aiming up at the top and terrain still deformed. I couldn't get regular rocks to rise , but any ores and large rocks were able to.

Steps to Reproduce: Get a basic drill and drill a surface level ore/rock.

I'm observing this as well with the survival tool

 

Same here. In addition if you aim not correctly, close to Rock on the ground, you make a hole and the Rock is gone

 

I drilled a larger Rock 207 HP... as soon as it break the Ground OPENED up

 

Also the tent terrain bug is back in spades, possibly related?

 

Thank you. In addition it happens also with those large Black Trees inside the Radiated Bioms/Arid Planet.

 

For me it is the same even when i cut down with chainsaw all those normal trees on a temperate normal starter planet ?!?!?!!!! Please solve this problem soon - its game breaking ... at least for me!

 

The same happens when collecting some plants. The ground grows around its base.

 

Also seeing this effect using the hand tool (resource drill) or HV mechanical drill
