Mode: Survival SERVER NAME: Transcendence MODIFIED PLAYFIELDS: Yes Reproducibility: Sometimes Severity: Minor Type: Playfield Transition Summary: Player Disconnection From Server While Transitioning playfields (High ping?) Description: Players receive CoQ when transitioning to a new playfield. Also loses connection with the server. Steps to Reproduce: 1.) Simply transition to a new playfield with ping above 200ms on a dedicated server via a teleporter. Other notes: 1.)Both playfields for player "Hendrake" had semi-large (Class 7 & Class 16) structures. 2.) At first thought it was due to a check for "Playfield Entered" in the PDA. Message pop up during loading. Probably not an issue? 3.) In logs, Hendrake tested with transitioning from playfields (Haven Station, Ovus, & LunaFare) 4.) Result of login after CoQ is that the player is in the new playfield not at receiving teleporter. Log from server admin Hendrake provided as he was able to reproduce. Server logs from today for 10.0.1 provided.
It seems to be mainly with players with higher pings. My Admin farthest away from the server reproduced it twice. I transition in a matter of seconds without an issue. I'm on a Fiber connection.
Concerning the client log from the OP it looks to be from after this happened 'Hendrake' @ time 08:41 - can this user supply the client log from 08:31 when this triggered ? it happened here 19-13:31:29.179 08_31 in Dedicated_190619-081019-08 Probably will be the client log created before the one you have supplied (Client_190619-084132-55 was in the zip)
Thanks I got it. Would it be possible to also get a copy of the save game from the server to see if I can trigger this issue also ? it would be very important to be able to trigger this to find the root cause of it.
Thread marked as fixed after deleting the player files. Issue appears to be from corrupted player files. Please PM me to reopen this thread if needed.
