Mode: Survival Mode: Singleplayer SEED-ID: Global: 263212 Playfield: 150626 Reproducibility: Frequent Severity: Minor Type: Terrain/Deco/Objects Summary: Objects Near Structures Bugged Description: Noticed this a few times in recent weeks; some "terrain objects" (i.e. rocks, surface ore rocks, trees) when placed near structures/poi's are bugged - in the case of trees, they are "there" - you can collide with them - but you can't cut them down for wood. In the case detailed here, immediately after crash down, I came upon a spiders nest that had an iron ore surface rock right next to it. When I fired my survival tool at in (in drill mode of course), it shot right through it and dug out a whole in the ground. As "reload" has been a diagnostic issue/concept of late, I decided to save/exit and reload to see if that would resolve it and make the rock "mineable"... when I loaded back in to game, the rock was nowhere to be seen - the hole I unintentionally drilled was, but no sign of the rock. Whether trees or rocks, the common denominator best I can tell is proximity to a structure/poi on placement or draw-in... as I have not yet run into similar behaviour in the "deep wilds". Second occurrence, same game: Approaching a tree right next to a Crashed CV Wreck - chainsaw is doing nothing to it: Exit game immediately to save, then reload: NO TREE! Hey Pantera, any detail on what the issue was - I ask so as to help zone in on testing/seeing if I can recreate it?
I can only really explain it as a issue with the deco manager & negative positions. The only reliable way to reproduce it was to cut down a small number of trees say 4 or 5 then exit to the main menu & load back in & check if a 'container' tree or rock/s appear in the location where the harvestable trees were. So far I haven't seen it appear again in B2533.
