I've noticed a weird bug when spawning blueprints in survival, and finaly tracked down the sequence of events that maybe causes it; Playing on my own server on Nitrado: If i spawn a blueprint from the factory while Symmetry mode is on, and/or am connected to a cargo container while building the Green Box stays behind, even follows me around sort of, appeaeing here and there as i travel. Sometimes I've noticed especially with Symmetry mode on, the Green Box AND the model within stay behind, though the model has no collision. Ussually a simple exit and enter fixes the fake model part. But the green box can stay around for a while . Not typically past 24 hr server resets. It does not interfere with spawning new models, models spawn properly, just the green box hangs around and sometimes a 'ghost' of the model.
Place a starter block. I tend to build a block or two tall column to drop the starter block onto, so I have room to work around them, and they do this, pretty much all the time. The "ghost" starter will remain until I log out and back in. If I work around it and ignore it, I'll see the green frame moving through the world, usually at some distance from me.
Yeah, this is still a thing. I usually try to open the factory and load another blueprint without actually placing it.... A log in and out should fix it. But if that doesn't, maybe you should verify your files to make sure that you are up to date, and files are not corrupted.
Well usually a log in/out will solve this. But last time i had to exit the game completely ... This bug has been around for years...
Awesome. It's not a game-breaking issue, but it is annoying and can make it a little challenging to build around the "ghost" blocks.
A fix for this now released on the experimental branch https://empyriononline.com/threads/alpha-11-5-experimental-refinements.91665/
