This has cropped up from time to time as long as I've been playing Emp, but I thought I'd report that it's still happening. Built a base (one the levelled area that was left after I removed the Large Wreckage POI, so no digging). When I reloaded, I got this: Tried quitting and reloading several times, but this large hole with floating grass layer persists.
Hi do you know how this can be reproduced again starting with a use case before the terrain appears like this ?
I had something similar in 12.2. Some terrain above my base (dug into mountain) disappeared. I could reload game and it would go away. However in 12.3 in one instance I had a huge impenetrable wall of earth going right through my mountain base. It could NOT be removed with drill. Reloading did NOT remove it, but fortunately I had another recent save, which had no issues. Only seen it once so far, but I'm doing double saves now. I can't reproduce, so I know it's not to much help.
I saw this in similar scenarios in ZeroG server. I believe it's possibly caused by DSL artifacts when rendering terrain, it could be reproduced via fast god mode movement on flattened or dug out terrains. Sometimes it would go away, sometimes it would stay.
@Pantera I have a game in progress. In this game the problem of wells in the ground is reproduced. How to reproduce: Going from the base as far as possible, taking your time to collect what you find on the way, you can go around the planet. Upon returning to Base you will find a triangle well, always in the same place. They have reappeared 3 times in the same place. Tengo un juego en proceso. Forma de reproducir: Salir en recorrido desde la base lo mas alejado posible, tomarse su tiempo en recolectar lo que encuentres en el camino, puede dar una vuelta al planeta. Al regresar a la Base se encontrará un pozo en triángulo, siempre en el mismo lugar. Han reaparecido 3 veces en el mismo lugar.

Yes. Last night it was updated and I can't play it. But I suppose you could go back to version 12.3xxx to check the problem and have clues of the error. I will follow the steps to reproduce it and see what happens. Just started a brand new game in 12.4.2 and built my first base near the large wreckage POI (as used in Robinson protocol). Been wandering around, doing a few missions, etc. just came home for a nap and woke up to this: -- I now have a grass level floating across my front door (quitting and reloading doesn't help, BTW). I didn't do any excavating for this base; the dips in the foreground that you can see are the result of placing and removing the tent. Missing triangle , first time I've seen this. Drops you into the planet but then you bounce back up again. Pic and save file attached. First time I've ever encountered this glitched hole
This happens to me sometimes too.. and if I run around it a bit, it can grow in size, but if I leave the area and come back, its gone. I think there's already a bug report for it, but it's labeled as 'not able to currently reproduce" or something like that. You might want to add your experience and save game to that bug report.
I've seen these too, but not in A12. And they disappear when I exit/re-enter the game. I suspect they have something to do with running the game for long periods of time.
I'm not so sure about that.. I started a new A12.5, and when I went around picking protein in the area, I experienced one at the base of a hill, less than 3 minutes after crash landing.
This is new! It is the "Burial Chamber" building. Only the lack of filling is observed from below, if you are above it is normal, or if the drone runs through the vacuum it will be ejected upwards after a moment. A restart of the game solves this problem. Esto es nuevo! Suddenly there's a rectangular hole on my starter planet. I drove over it with the Hoover and it sank slowly down to a meadow. I drove on to see the "wall". But there was none. I suddenly stood again on the normal ground some meters behind the hole. I sent the drone in, with the same result at the "wall". From above the hole you can see a bright piece of meadow apparently at the bottom. When the drone reaches this "meadow", it appears high above the hole. Just still in range. Very strange. If necessary, there are some screenshots.
for something like that, a savefile with your character at/looking at the hole would probably be more helpful for the Devs to find the cause and fix it.
Those "Holes" happen from time to time. The Devs can't reproduce it. Simplest method for you is to hit the Ground with the Drill/ Survival Tool in Drill mode where the Hole is. The hole will close.

Now it could be fine since we're in the year 24xx - even though solar panels are exactly like ours - but at least the oxygen should be consumed instead you're using oxygen while diving then you use the tent and the oxygen remains the same after waking up in the morning. Does the tent have its own oxygen reserve? Just in case I would expect an oxygen tank for the tent... so to have a tent underwater would be fine for the type of game but as of now just not in line with the requirements other objects have. Steps to Reproduce: Put the tent underwater, not linked to base anyway otherwise the wireframe will be red.
