Try to use right Alt+Tab to switch between full screen and windowed mode. That fixed for me. Was the Zirax BA a Drone Base? Where you landed on the BA or just too close?
Thanks I can reproduce this the exception will be looked into. I have "Recovered" your player in the attached save game which is your original save with the same save game name. Remove the previous save from the Saves\Games folder Place this attached compressed copy in the Saves\Games folder Right click on it & use the extract option so the game is extracted Start the game & load in your character will be standing above where you were stuck.
I am also seeing this consistently - once I get too close to the Zirax drone base, any saves no longer load with the same error that OP is showing. Glad you are looking into it. The devs for this game rock!
