Created map markers sometimes disappear from "Map Markers" tab after loading game or during gameplay. Like on screen. And then you can't edit existing one by clicking on it. 2. Creating waypoint or just planting a marker witch "Show on Hud", are no different on screen: - Creating Waypoint "1". It's visible on HUD. - editing by switching of "Waypoint". Don't shows on HUD. Like supposed to do. - editing by switching "show on HUD". It's visible but still yellow (in 11.5 was white icon on HUD and map). That's not correlate with missing map markers on "Map Markers " Tab. Its was the same when they visible.
The list of map markers on the tab has also disappeared me on some occasions (A12). On the tab the private box had been unchecked by itself. Neither the public nor the private box is checked in the screenshots you show. I checked the box for private and I could see the list again and I could switch between private and public.
1 use case has been found for this but if anyone finds a reliable way to trigger this over & over please post the steps in your posts. Steps: 1) 2) 3) etc
We have a fix for the repro of the "Private" list not being populated after changing to different windows in the next release. Please retest & leave feedback here thanks.
Not sure if it's related to this but I have seen some weird things. Even markers moving upon reloading a game but, thus far, not reproducible. However, the problem I am seeing is strictly a multiplayer issue in build 2891. Markers that are copied to the public list and then copied by another player to their private list, disappear when reloading the game. In an interesting twist, all shared markers still appear in the public list instead of disappearing after some time like they would in A11.
The previously mentioned issue, public markers that are shared by another player that are copied to a private list disappear on game or server restart, still occurs in 12.4 2914. One more to add to map marker issues is that editing a marker (at least the name) results in a copy of the marker with the new name while the old one still exists as well. Very minor issue but wanted to get it on record before I forgot it.
Yes I see something will be looked at for a future fix thanks. For any other issues please create a separate thread for any other issues.
I will certainly do that. I believe the issues mentioned above may be related so I will keep an eye out for once things are getting fixed after some revision and report any new/remaining anomalies at that time. I edit map markers regularly so I won't miss it if it keeps occurring in the future.
I have had my map markers stay active even when I have chosen "Remove on Approach". And when I try to right click to remove them, they show up with "waypoint" checked, as well as "Remove on Approach" still checked off. I have no idea how to reproduce other than: 1) Right click on map, 2) Add waypoint, 3) check off 'Waypoint' and 'Remove on Approach'. Logging on and off didn't work. They were still there.
