Nah, I don't want to FoW is OK but the quest wants to send me some place I don't even know about and I've no idea where possibly could be so... NVM, now I know it. Thanks for the nfo
I updated the Venom p1 I released a few days ago, it is common for me to build a bunch of stuff, release it in haste then gradually overhaul it all over the following week xD Added more lateral thrusters a specs pic is included which was not before and I find the specs to be pretty beast. Resprayed a bit and rotated the down thruster vents to have their slats pointing up not horizontal. I removed the fridge and 3 cargo boxes but left a constructor buried deep in the structure. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1118866246 She reaches max speed in space in 2 seconds
It's perfect! Uploads to workshop. Except for this. And this. And this isn't working with the flow... Glad I'm not the only one!
Still working on guest rooms but I finished another block of them today. Spoiler This room has a jacuzzi in back because why not. This one could have used a pool table. This room is uh, kind of eclectic.
GREAT... I just found out that the butt ugly lead ship in ST: Discovery resembles the Raumkreuzer and Quasar Classes i have made. (Speaking about the outer ring structure on the saucer section) Now everyone will think i like that design and that i have copied it... I really should stay up to date with modern pop culture. EDIT: Btw. i started a new project. (I guess i'm addicted to create CVs, lol)
No, Neal. Bad. Don't do that to yourself. The Discovery looks like a 1950's hubcap It bears no resemblance at all to Raumkreuzer or Quasar. Stop second-guessing yourself.
Now that we have switches and sensors for sv, I decided it was time to learn a bit about logic gates so that I can create some useful logic circuits. I downloaded an app called logic simulator for my android device. With this I learned a little about the AND NAND NOT OR NOR gates and using multiple gates and bridging functions to functions. I just updated my executioner made it a little longer, then added 6 switches inside, if you activate the correct combination, another door opens that lets you leave Made simple using several AND gates and 1 NOR gate 4 of the 6 switches have to be in the correct position. This is just the beginning...
Drew this plan up for a 10 digit security system to activate a core. The intent is to use it to start a ship. Anyone who gets the right code can steal the ship away xD The buttons will be in keypad formation with numbered wall textures. 4 of 10 switches need activating.
Made a new friend tonight while visiting a neighbor before I headed off the moon. He wasn't all that chatty and seemed to be really keen on showing me this wall. He did share some ammo and food with me and gave me some galactic credits for when I stop by the trade station. Nice enough guy but he bled like the rest!
I guess i made finally some progress iam not 100% sure, but it gets closer. I just love the light textures....perfect for alienstuff
Thanks ... Taking advantage of the no structural integrity on ships. I like little sci fi effects like floating objects on a ship.
Hehe, if that's true, i don't know if i should feel honored to insulted by them. Here's a screenshot of the new ship i'm working on.
Today I tried to run a local survival dedicated server from my laptop, installed with steam etc I want to connect from my desktop pc. You are logged in already, you will be logged out. Kind of defeats the point of being able to setup a dedicated server right ? What am I missing here or doing wrong 0.o
