After that, try for the purely artistic Base. It will take time, but I am sure you will surprise yourself. Stretch those neurons!
BM describes certain Biomes on the moon at present. It is usually related to the pentaxid crystals you can pick up. It is just a placeholder.
...Survial game. Sadly mergestructs is only available in creative... I'm trying to build up a modular Base with a wall surrounding in Mad Max Outpost style, but of course this would take some ingame time. The ONLY thing that could function is the relative setposition commands, they "allow" overlapping... more or less, but I'm not sure how... secure that would be...

Yeah, there is currently no way to do what you want to do. I also doubt it will be added at any point as well.

You can build into other structures (that way they're overlapping), but I had some(times) strange (SI-) problems then... I hope with saveable Selections this could be done. (that way these parts would be automatically structmerged)
seems indeed I have to cut the surroundings into pieces/parts, and then with setposition align them. not optimal, but in SP doable...
@rucky ok did some more tests as soon as you make that corner it becomes unplaceable - see below. But straight line between bases no issue. In these circumstances I already had SI problems (like flying Bases and such...) But not sure when and what does trigger that... anyone has some insides into that? @Pantera perhaps?
I think the best way would be to set it up in creative mode with the mergestructs commands or copy & paste tool & BP the entire structure when you are done adding to it.

hm. that would mean: 1) playing the survival part until I get the ressources for the outlining wall structure, factoring it, then spawning it into game 2) playing on until I have more ressources to build... uhm, let's see I decide now for the greenhouse.. or the workplace? na, greenhouse. 2a) then I put in ressources into the factory building it. 2b) Meanwhile I go into Creative, spawning Wall structure and Greenhouse, moving the Greenhouse into place via setposition and mergestructs them into a new BP, saving it. 2c) back into the Survival game, waiting that the Greenhouse is done, spawning it somewhere, doesn't matter where, because: 2e) now with DI and DELETE ID I remove the wall structure and the Greenhouse (not forgetting to save all cargo ressources from everywhere there (problem... whereto??)) and then 2f) with SBP command spawn the mergestructed Structure (containing Wall structure and Greenhouse) into my Survival game at the same place. Nah. Until it's possible to save Structure-Selections into own BP-Library and using them in other Games and Game modes (f.e. with auto-merge-structing) this is not reasonable. It's easier until then to make 10-20 modular mini structs / bases... with cutting down the outlining wall structures into different pieces too... sadly...
