so seems some guy on my workshop posted this idk what the hell he means makes no sense to me, can someone explain? ?_?
He touches the currently known problem of 'bricks', probably. Thats just my guess because i cannot uncode the biggest part of this message...
bricks, lol well that explains something, i made a CV miner using the new layers but have the cockpit protected for pvp space, im wondering if hes mad about this or, idk at this point LOL
Bricks are pretty annoying. Such messages are okey because problem of bricks pisses off a lot of emp. players including me. Hope such **** will be fixied.
That's Gawain, our neighborhood looney that loves to be victimized. @Kassonnade, do you remember him and Xenophon? Gawain and Xenophon trolled my threads for months with emotionally charged drama and thankfully Kassonade and a few others were there to get rid of the bastards. Man I haven't seen him around for at least a year haha
only Problem is, he's not only with the exact same message on my blueprint https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1394888121 He and his friends are seeking blueprints which they believe are wrong in their sense and it also can be assumed they hit these with massive downvotes (which I got for these vessels shortly before his message) only to get the Devs a message as it seems. And now the funny part, he believed my vessel with 8 Harvesters used over-limit number of that device, which in fact is not true. So I got that massive trolling and downvoting even because false meaning - which AGAIN shows, that voting, whether positive or negative, should not only be only possible AFTER subscribing, but also at least 24 hours later, and additional any downvote (atleast) should be paired with the necessity of writing a comment! edit: @The Tactician[ Λ ] I think you've seen his message on MY vessel ;-) edit2: His opinion is, that on all "free""unrestricted" Servers PVP is biased because that guy with the biggest... uhm... number of weapons win, or better said the best Ping, because too much weapons hinder the performance and then Ping and not own skill win the fight. More or Less. Therefore they seek and destroy all Blueprints which have "unrestricted" (over the limit) features -> until the Devs listen and remove that feature again. (just check his additional messages on my blueprint) Whether or not PVP is biased is - personally for me - irrelevant to me. But what I don't like is, to get trolled and attacked (downvoted) in some sort of War against the Devs. So I hope, when this doesn't stop, that the Devs DO TAKE ACTION about that.
How can I forget... Be ready for end of school soon... We'll get a fresh delivery of summer forumers asking for all kinds of things in the same manner. Xenophon only stayed a few months on the forums, and Gawain is more come-and-go. I stay away from Steam forums and never post unless having serious bugs. That place is badly moderated and has zillions of trolls...
A "ship design paradigm"... here is an example I put on a thread some time ago, just to compare two very different playstyles:
The current state of game mechanics don't favor aesthetically designed ships in PvP... basically brick shapes made of multiple layers of combat steel and studded liberally with weapons are the only things that last. But then, it's PvP... only about 15% of the base plays it, so who cares? Most do MP Co-Op or SP at about a 50/50 split with some overlap, like myself
Noted. Will leave open for further discussion and will jump over to steam in a bit to check there as well
I wish Steam would just get rid of the downvotes. If people like a workshop submission, people can upvote it. Popular items will still be popular, but it prevents certain individuals or groups from downvote bombing perfectly good workshop items.
what im dealing with dayly, ill take Jens advice and ignore it, like i have been but its still annoying
This is pretty much why I always try to remember to mention in my blueprints that they are not meant for PvP. I used to hate it to have comments that mocked me for not covering my CV with, say 8 layers of combat steel and that they were pretty but useless. This is also what led me to secretly wish the the developers would simply get rid of the 3rd person view ability for any PvP playfields. I still humor the idea of people trying to fly and have space combat while having to fly and aim blind from withing their bricks.
