Fixed Invulnerable Trees A10 [6417]

    as the title says.. in A10 when trees regrow all trees within 1/2 kilometer of starting base are unharvestable.. all above ground Ore are unmineable and most harvestable plants are no longer pickable... i have witnessed this in every start since A10.. relogging does not fix the problem..... not sure if this is data you need

    Can you also attach/supply the save game with your character left standing next to a un-harvestable tree ?

    Mode: Survival (probably an issue in all other modes as well)
    Mode: Singleplayer, Dedicated Server

    SERVER NAME: Warchs Server (Happens on Server and Singleplayer - linked save is Singleplayer
    SEED-ID: Server seed is 1205283, Singleplayer Seed is 308951 (global) and 898727 (playfield)

    MODIFIED PLAYFIELDS: No

    Reproducibility: I have not found a way to reproduce the bug willingly.
    Severity: Minor, but really annoying

    Type: Ressource gathering and ressource objects

    Summary: Stones, ressource plants and trees turn undestroyable and unharvestable

    Description: In some cases stones, trees and ressource plants turn static and unremovable.
    Trees can't be sawed with neither gunfire, chainsaw or HV-harvest module. Even with debug weaponary they aren't removable. They have a collision for CV, SV and HV, but none for players. Applies to Rocks as well, not being harvestable with any drill or mudule. Stones DO keep their collision for players.
    Ressource plants don't give their ressources anymore and are also indestructible. The huge eggplant (normally giving vegetables) I encountered does have a collision against players and Vessels.
    The one thing all of those objects have in common is, when pointing at them with a drill or a multi tool, they display:

    Container
    Hit Points 50/50



    Steps to Reproduce: I've not found a way to make a plant or rock turn invincible, so the steps are how to find the bug in my appended save game.
    1. Load the game (duh!)
    2. You're standing next to a tree - this tree right next to my base is indestructible
    3. Within a few steps distance is a giant eggplant. It is indestructible as well.

    Should you choose to visit my Server (if you can find it, I'm having trouble getting it listed publicly...
    1. Visit Planet "Trikay".
    2. Seek out the Base of the faction "Die Ungeduschten (DUG)"
    3. Next to the Minigun defense Tower is a rock that's indestructable.
    4. Below the Flak defense tower is another one (I covered that rock by building a defense tower around and above it).

    Maybe I know how to reproduce. In my SP I also have an undestroyable tree, that I harvested the day before and that has regrown.

    I've run into this too on multiplayer servers.
    Some tree's grow back close to your base and you can't get rid of them.
    and there is the odd tree ( small ) that you never could get rid of........it's indestructible.

    Hi no can you attach or share the actual save game folder ?
    Go to
    SteamLibrary\steamapps\Common\Empyrion - Galactic Survival\Saves\Games <- For SP
    SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Empyrion - Dedicated Server\Saves\Games <- For MP

    Right click on the save file & place your mouse cursor over 'Send to' create a compressed copy of it then drag & drop a copy in your reply box or use the upload a file option.
    If the file is too large use a file hosting site like mediafire, dropbox or google drive then add a share link to it.

    Type: Global
    Summary: Respawned trees are indestructible


    Description: You see this always when playing long time in a forest area, trees come back and you can't chainsaw or shoot them. Bullets go through the trees. Makes it impossible to build a long term base in forest and shorelines, because the trees/stumps are in the way of bases and large CVs.

    Steps to Reproduce:
    - Start a new creative game.
    - Fly to some area with lots of trees and place some prefab ship or base as a marker of the area (optional).
    - Get a chainsaw and cut trees down in large area all around.
    - Exit back to main menu and reload the game.
    - Some of the trees should have already respawned and you can't cut them.

    I mean it's also a problem in itself that trees do respawn near bases. There should be some decent range where it doesn't happen.

    Ok I read this thread earlier and was able to reproduce it on both SP Survival and MP Survival. This particular part was entertaining so I fired up Fraps and did it again to share with the group. Rocket vs. Rock

    In an old save before patch the trees are still invulnerable, but i can understand if you'll only want us to start a new game.

    I then tried a new creative game, and after clearing a wide area and reloading the save, only 1 invulnerable treestump re-appeared. But that 1 is too many still? ;) It was many more before the patch i think so maybe it's not that bad now. I loaded the save a few times and the 1 tree remained there, but i can upload that if it helps.
