Ok I found a use case where I can get it to happen sometimes atleast. I'll update back here when a possible fix may be ready thanks for the reports!
I get this with my CV it looks like something has attacked it. A restart fixes it but the game usually crashes anyway.
Just wait until it's part of an outside wall to your greenhouse that fails to load, during bad weather, instantly killing all your crops. Reload sees the wall come back but all the plants are already dead. That was a fun one.
Objects exist but not showing at base. When I came back from a run most of the stuff was missing from my base. Basically the fridge stove generator and fuel + half my solar panels. The one image shows the inventory of the fridge but its not there. I shut down and reloaded the game and it was all back. Are you sure this is NA to alpha 10 experimental as it keeps happening since the last patch and it never happened to me before. I started a new game again this AM and it still happens every time I go any distance from my base and come back. Any distance KM or more. This time It happened at the starter base when I came back from the first exploration mission. Seems applicable to experimental branch last patch FOR ME anyway
No one said it wasn't applicable or that it wasn't a bug. It IS a bug, they already know about it, and there is no fix (yet). There is nothing that can be done about it at this time.

They aren't merely invisible (i.e. didn't draw), they simply aren't there at all (Control Panel simply doesn't list them). Quit and reload always fixes it, but it's a pain and wastes time. Steps to Reproduce: Fly away in SV, carry out missions, fly back. Seems you have to leave the playfield (e.g. leave CV in orbit, enter atmosphere, return to orbit) to get this effect. Here's my ship when I fly in: big gaps where the gravity generator, Pentaxid tank, Constructor and cargo box should be (and there are blocks missing). Quit and reload, and hey presto, all is as it should be (until the next away mission).
What is "interesting" (!), is that it seems to be the same parts every time: in addition to the ones I mentioned above, the left turret goes (but not the right one), some thrusters (but not others), certain blocks, etc.
Attaching some logs on new issues found in the RC. A tester of mine had *biome* data messed up. So there were trees, bushes, and other stuff spawning inside of a POI. as usual, relogging does fix this.
The errors shown in those logs are to do with AI which will be examined. Any idea how they are triggered ? For any other issues not related to the OP please make a separate thread.
This is still happening: new start (SP, survival, 10.0, RC2). That empty hole ought to have my core in it: Control panel still lists the core: Quit and reload, all is well:
multiplayer, dediserver. Created base starter, and placed it on a beach area near a lake. The core was invisible, although I did get the green base marker so clearly it existed. I logged out of the game, then logged back in - and the core was visible normally afterwards.
I’ve seen this too, seems to be part of the dynamic play field loading issue reported elsewhere. It’s a known issue.
A fix for this will be in the next exp build please retest & post feedback here when it is out tomorrow if all goes well.
