    Mode: Survival
    Mode: Singleplayer

    SERVER NAME: n/a
    SEED-ID: 230371

    If applicable:

    MODIFIED PLAYFIELDS: No
    Reproducibility: Always
    Severity: Minor

    Type: POIs
Summary: Some starter wreckages float in the air

Description: With a new game in the above seed, and planet size set to Large, one of the starter wreckages as well as the Crashed Vessel (former "Wreckage") appear to be floating. They are apparently not affected by SI, as adding and removing blocks from anywhere does not result in its destruction or in any part turning red with SI visible. This may affect other POIs, but a quick check of others on the same planet did not result in any others being found.

    Steps to Reproduce:
    1. Start a new game with the above seed and planet size set to large.
    2. Visit the starter wreckages ("Small Wreckage") and "Crashed Vessel" near the starting area.
    3. Observe that one "Small Wreckage" and the "Crashed Vessel" are defying gravity.
    4. Use "im" in the console and obtain a multitool and large blocks of any material.
    5. Add a block to the bottom of one of them, attached to the ground.
    6. Remove the block you added in step 4.
    7. Observe that the structure is not affected by your actions in steps 4-6.
Screenshots, Crash Logs, any other Relevant Information or Download links:
    • Issue affects self and @elmo.
    • May also affect the current stable build (2523, current experimental at time of writing is 2524) and perhaps some older builds, but this has not been tested.
    • Other seeds may be affected, but this has also not been tested.
    • Screenshot below shows "Crashed Vessel" with "View Structural Integrity" switched on. 383120_20190705013547_1.png

I second that. I found all of the starter Wrecks floating (while several POI's were buried deep into the ground:rolleyes:)

Haven't found the buried ones, only floating. I think it's flattening the terrain around the POI properly, but it's just not placing the structure at the right height.

I'll visit the Monastery(?) POI again and take a screenshot.

Does this still happen as of B2531 ?
I have started multiple new saves & I haven't seen this on any POI's.

Apparently not. I just checked the seed in the report again (large planets, Arid starter), and the "Crashed Vessel" POI is slightly in the ground as normal, so this seems to have been fixed. Thanks for checking up on it :)
