So to reproduce this both players need to be next to each other to start with then 1 moves away whilst the other mines then the other player returns ?
yes exactly, the problem appears with everything: collectable plants, harvesting trees, destroying rocks, mining ores. When the both players are near each other, it works fine and both get the updates. If player_A moves away and returns, it won't update what leads to trees that can't be chopped (because they are already chopped by player_B), rocks are still there (that were destroyed by Player_B), the ore shows 100% (even if player_B cleared it) and so on.
Getting massive desync issues on a dedicated server, invisible players and drones, frozen and glitching animals, etc, ships that teleport away after you get in them, even our escape pods were frozen in the air and we had to use god mode to leave them. Portable constructors sometimes not visible while in a HV and re-appear when you leave the HV, etc. Everything worked fine in 10.4 with the same server.
Is this the same issue you are seeing like mentioned above ? You go away then come back then what you describe happens ?
Yes the exact same issue, if I go somewhere my brother was harvesting, the ore rocks and plants will still show up on my screen but won't be harvest-able. It also happens if I'm in a HV nearby and my brother is collecting the ore rocks. I'll see him zap the ore rock with his drill, but the ore rock stays there on my screen. There seems to be a lot of desync surrounding vehicles but it's not limited to vehicles. I could make a list of all the things I noticed, but there's no way I could make bug reports on each individual one, there's just too many different issues. It's barely playable. If you want me to make a new single bug report with everything I saw though let me know.

Ok I have logged the desync issue with a player returning & the client not being in sync for cutting down trees, mining a deposit etc looking for the others mentioned also.
Further to what @elmo just said: it doesn't occur right away for us, we were playing for about an hour. It had happened to both of us on two occasions separately, and it's just happened to us both at the same time. It seemed that the vessels (HVs) were frozen on the server, but still seemed to be moving normally on the client (I restarted my client, and saw where they had been frozen, and after restarting the server, they were still there.) We were both moving at the point they froze.
I’m seeing this in coop. 2 players. Player One collected all the trees in an area. Player two turns up and can see but not interact with all trees Player one can see that player two is standing where he sees no trees. Also when either of us use the motorbike it just freezes (on ground and even mid air) every few seconds. Restarting both clients and the coop local server makes no difference.
Here's all the issues we experienced: Dedicated server ran on a dedicated PC by my brother. Running 10.5 version of Project Eden on the snow dwarf starter planet. Server worked fine in 10.4 with none of the below mentioned issues. Plenty of available memory and CPU on the server and my ping was 12-20. 3 players. Some issues didn't always happen or didn't affect all players at the same time. Play session lasted several hours. Did not restart server during this time. Reconnecting our clients could temporarily fix some of the issues. Escape pods frozen in mid air on game start. Surface rocks not updating for other players if they were far away when they were harvested. Players sometimes shown standing in place to other players after leaving an HV even though they are moving around and interacting with the world. Only a client reconnect from the affected player could fix. Portable constructors and heaters sometimes invisible while in an HV. Lizard mules flicker in and out of existence while in an HV. Animals don't show as dead while in an HV until you leave the HV. Surface rocks being mined by nearby players don't update on your screen if you're watching while piloting an HV. Some zirax drones were invisible to the pilots of the HVs but were visible to the passenger. HV grinders stopped working on trees about halfway through our play session. Surface boulders disappear when ramming in an HV. Several nightmares in the bottom level of the lost colony POI didn't drop a body when killed. Final overlord boss of lost colony didn't spawn. Surface rocks stopped dropping resources until a client restart. Some plants that appeared already harvested could be harvested again. At the end of our play session both HVs became bugged. They could be piloted by a client but wouldn't be seen moving by other players and would teleport back to their original location after leaving the HV.
There will be a fix in one of the next exp releases I'll update here when it is ready to test on the exp branch.

This will be addressed in the next release on exp tomorrow if all goes well. I'll close this thread if any more sync issues appear for MP that our new in experimental please create a new bugs reports & detail how to reproduce the bug that is being seen if you know how. Thanks alot for your help!
