I'm not reporting a bug with all your rules BECAUSE I AM DISAPPOINTED AS HELL. Few years ago when I tried playing this game I found once my base 50% absent(not destroyed, absent). And some of my ships lost their blocks aswell. And today, after years of patches and fixes, I am loading my game, and see this f*ck the base. I've lost all my resources... I understand you are a small team etc etc. BUT GUYS, YOUR GAME JUST RUINED my progress AGAIN. last "backup save" is 10 hours ago.
@VPanda Was this a single player game or on the server? Was the save made in 12.2 or 12.3? Yes I can see you have lost stuff. It's hard to know what your complaining about without more information. You are playing in the experimental version and anything can go wrong. That's why bug reports are so important with as much information as possible.
Single player. Its the most new experimental version, save made in 12.3, playing in 12.3 First time I lost my base&ship few years ago and stopped playing, that's why its not experimental version problem!!! Last thing I was doing before save&exit is refining some ores in large constructor and removing glass blocks
Did the missing blocks return after you load back into the save game ? Can this be reliably reproduced over & over ? without a use case unfortunately there isn't much we can do. If anyone knows how to reliably trigger it over & over please let me know.
Not sure if they returned, coz you cant tell what side of base it is now. I tried removing them again after loading backup save - nothing happened.
Ok it sounds like something else then I thought it was this https://empyriononline.com/threads/base-not-always-loading-compleet-in-one-piece-6527.91857/ What I linked to unfortunately is sporadic & we have not had success in finding a reliable use case to debug. To look at the issue you have experienced we need something to start with & a point to get to where it will trigger the issue reliably: 1) Place base & do X 2) Leave the save game & load into another save (SP or MP) or close the game down 3) Start the game up again, load into save game <- Issue triggers Something like that. Sorry for the inconveniences caused by this.
