Situation: I get on the SV and approach to the hangar door (BA or CV) controlled by a motion sensor. The following occurs when the SV is within the range of the motion sensor. 1. Thruster stop The sound of the thruster that was heard until now stops, and the power consumption becomes the level of Idle. And if the auto brake is disabled, it will fall as if the aircraft's power is off. Even when the Auto brake is active, it falls slowly without maintaining its altitude. (The power consumption level at this time is idle.) 2. Deploy the landing gear regardless of the current altitude. 3. If it comes out of the range of motion sensor, it will be in the usual state. The above was irrelevant whether the hangar had a ramp or not. It was reproduced even if it was tested by spawning BA, CV and SV from Blueprint in the new creative mode. It always happens when entering a hangar, but rarely when leaving. It may sometimes recover from the above condition within the range of the sensor. (It may recover when some pitching movement occurs.) Sorry for being a known issue.
Ignored by Dev Team, Show a clip when something that seems to be a bug is happening. The BA and SV are called from the blueprint in a new creative mode.
They aren't ignoring you. There's a lot of bugs posted all the time and it can take time for them to sort through them all. They'll see your post.
I reported the bug of the certain function last time, but Dev Team turned it off with the case that a bug appeared without fixing the bug. Besides, without writing it to a patch note and the thread about the bug. So I doubt their support.
Since the game shown in the video has been deleted, it is a new one. About that I have confirmed that the problem is reproduced.
Mode: Creative, , Freedom mode (Did NOT test in Survival) Mode: Singleplayer Reproducibility: Always Severity: Minor Type: Triggers/Sensors Summary: SV landing gear extends when within 3 blocks in front of a hanger door Description: SV landing gear always extends when within 3 large blocks distance in front of a hanger door. This could be problematic if using landing gear to send a signal Tested in both space and planet playfields. Steps to Reproduce: Place BA or CV starter block Attach a hanger door of any size to the core (door can be open OR closed) Build/spawn a SV with landing gear more then 3 from the hanger door Move SV to within 3 (large) blocks distance of the hanger door Exit SV and check to see if landing gear is extended Landing extends as approaching the door Removed the blocks on the side just to make sure they weren't causing the extension Moved the SV off to the side and the landing gear retracted
You could use it to change the states of LCD's so you can have a visual indicator in your enclosed cockpit that you are docked. More of a enhanced hud.
I mostly use it to turn off any thrusters and RCSs that aren't needed to take off. Idle thruster burn may not be nearly as power hungry as when they are in active use but its still wasted fuel for a docked vessel. You might also use it to manage weapons, shields, turn on/off lights, open/close hatches and ramps. Anything really. It all depend on your build and how creative you are with signal logic. I imagine that the PDA could make use of this for quest and story purposes. I might even be useful to have some devices hard coded to give off a signal for this reason.
Oh that's a great Idea.. thanks for the responses.. I hadn't realized they send a signal, and that's a pretty cool idea.
Build: 1.1 3065 Mode: Creative, Freedom Mode: Singleplayer Reproducibility: Always Severity: Minor Type: Small Vessel Summary: Plane sinks and, or, falls to the ground mid flight. (From two occurrences). Description: Small vessel loses power (upward vertical thrust) under two conditions. Steps to Reproduce: 1st issue- This plane, https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2143830983 loses power when hovering over shutter doors and motion sensors. This is always repeatable. Attach a big shutter door or motion sensor to 'anything' (Base or capital ship), when the planes' landing gear comes out automatically above it, it slowly falls to the ground. You may have to wiggle or slide a bit to make it activate. 2nd issue- When sliding (left & right)(twisting[?]) it will sometimes shut off[disable?] the under engines forcing it to drop out of the sky, rapidly. Letting go of the slide (twist[?]) re-engages the under engines. This isn't repeatable all the time. I've managed to correct it sometimes by landing, (gear out), then taking off again. Not sure what activates the bug. It could be similar to this new thread https://empyriononline.com/threads/...g-right-thrusters-lift-bug.93804/#post-400110 I have the impression it may be due to the landing gear[?], as per the other issue of permanent speed reduction in post https://empyriononline.com/threads/...permanently-halves-speed-after-takeoff.94703/ (They both utilize the small side folding ramp.) I tried other small vessels (Space Shuttle) for example, but can't repeat the bug with it.
Edit: I found it! HORIZONTAL SLIDE + FORWARD THRUST + TWIST MOUSE = Turns off under engines. (Not always repeatable though). The type of turn is the sharpest you can do under twist. Ie: Slide left and right swivel (mouse). And another edit: Just sliding sideways now also does it. So the activator changes it too.
