Mode: SP, Survival (MP not tested). Reproducability: Unknown. Severity: Very high. Type: Likely SQL error with database - vessels being teleported into other sectors. Summary: Upon loading up a save game I started a few days ago, I found that two out of my three vessels had disappeared. I later found them in the orbit playfield of the planet. Description: I started a new survival game yesterday. I acquired the damaged hoverbike and the damaged UCH Dart from next to the Heidleberg (trying to do a wreckage only start). Today I took the Dart up and located the Destroyed Small Vessel in the minefield. Brought them both back. Undocked one from the other. Exited the game for lunch. Returned. Both the Dart and Small Vessel are gone. Only the hoverbike is present. Upon finding this bug report, I restarted the game (ships still gone), and did some extensive searching, and was finally able to teleport to the missing ships. They had been moved to the orbit of the planet. They are now both sitting in space, and I cannot continue my save without extensive god-moding. Screenshots are below, and I have attached a link to the savegame at the very bottom of this post. This is the console upon opening the game the third time (to do the extensive searching). This is exactly how it looked when I opened the game the second time and found my ships gone. You can see that there are some SQL errors. This is new in the console for me. I scanned the planet manually (aka, with my eyes), and then went to Orbit when I couldn't find my ships. After some searching, I opened the console again and noticed that it had tried to reposition the two ships I was looking for. I lifted the IDs which the console so kindly had supplied in the repositioning attempt, and was able to teleport to them. They were fairly close to each other, in Orbit, above the planet I last left them on. I had modified the ships, and the modifications I had made were still there (aka, moving thrusters around and stuff. This is a very game-breaking bug. Here is the save game (uploaded before I went looking for the ships): https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1JjZHoBsg7kaz76FWErsA3ukj8bnUfSZK?usp=sharing
Is there a way to force this to happen again ? The save appears to be AFTER the issue has triggered ideally really we need BEFORE a bug triggers so we actually have something to look at.
Yes. To test, I brought the damaged UCH Dart back down to where it was when the bug occured, exited and restarted the game, and the Dart had vanished once more. I teleported to the Orbit and opened the console and it said the Dart had been deleted rather than just repositioned so I can't test again... but yes, if you hop in the Dart, teleport to the surface, get out, exit and restart the game, the bug should happen. I did record the whole thing and will link the video once it is uploaded.
@Pantera Here is the video I made when I successfully reproduced the bug. If you do what I did with the save provided, I bet the same thing will happen.
FYI to add weight to this issue, this is happening to me as well, modified Dart landed on moon, logged out, logged back in and it's gone... back to random mid air position on starter planet. Three times in a row. On planet i've had no issues, just the moon at this point. Update: ok so now I'm having issues planet side now, my SV has flown itself back to the moon and buried itself underground while I made a coffee... this is getting old real quick.
Same here Every time I went to space with my rebuild UCH_Dart, make a save there and load back, my ship disappear Firstst time I went to space with my ship I found that white SV which TGRF_Trainer have on the last screen there Got it to my starting planet with my UCH_Dart attached to it, spent next couple of hours trying to rebuild the SV I found then after saving and loading back the rebuild SV was gone ( found the ship again in space where I 1st discovered it, with all the rebuild undone :| ) If I save on planet UCH stay where I left it * I uinstalled my game, deleted all files, reinstalled empyrion and started new game... same effect ** just noticed " Fixed in NEXT update" GREAT Save files - before I went to space:
A for this will be available in the next release A12.3.2 3024. What this means is you should be able to recover then vessel when found & it shouldn't trigger again.
