    Build: 1.2.3
    Mode: Survival
    Mode: Singleplayer

Reproducibility: Seems random but happens easily.
    Severity: Major

You know about the bug with the date stuck on 1 august 2474, merchands never being resupplied? After a quick read, it seems no one knows how it happens. (I hope I didn't miss anything)
I have found how to make it happens and I have gone beyond, I have reached years 25xx, etc...
And the date keeps changing, sometimes even going backward.

Steps to Reproduce: After a hyperspace jump, sleep in space, that's all. The result(random) seems to depend on the sector and/or our space travels. If you do several hyperspace jumps before sleeping in space, you may experience huge time warps instead, jumping several years when sleeping (at least that's what happened to me).

I hope I am not too late to report this and that someone else has already given the steps to reproduce it, or it has already been fixed.

Thanks for this I can trigger the issue with the ticks which will be looked at asap.

Do you warp to multiple sectors/stars then sleep or do you jump to a star sleep then jump to another then sleep again & keep repeating this to reach 25xx or "backward"/minus years ?

Can you say roughly how many warps it takes to get to that point ?

It was tricky to make the second variant of the bug happens.
In my case, it involves a second spaceship with a teleporter and a space station with a teleporter.

*First, I have placed a spaceship in space around a planet of another star system where I have set up a base to mine zasconium and erestrum.
*Second, I have placed my second spaceship in space of the starting sector, so I have access to the teleporter of the Polaris space station.

I don't know if it has any influence on the bug, but to "make sure" the bug happens, I have placed my spaceships away from any POIs and planets, at least 16 km away.

*On the spaceship in the starting sector, I sleep, the usual bug happens => 1/08/2474 and the time on the map is 9 xxx xxx xxx xxx xxx : xx
*I teleport to the space station and then teleport to my other spaceship in the other star system.
*I sleep on that other spaceship=> the date is back, but the time on the map is still 9 xxx xxx xxx xxx xxx : xx
*I sleep again, my spaceship has run out of fuel, the date has jumped about 10 years in the future, and the time on the map is still 9 xxx xxx xxx xxx xxx : xx

And if I keep sleeping, about 10 years passe each time I sleep and the time on the map just stays that way: 9 xxx xxx xxx xxx xxx : xx.

To make time jumps backward more messing with teleporters and hyperspace jumps I guess. I didn't try to get it to go backward here.
My guess is that when we change sector the game is dynamically getting data about time for each sector (It may also depend on our position inside the sector, I am not sure about how it works), and those data may not always be availables when we are in space.

If my guess is correct, you may not obtain the same result as me even if you reproduce what I have done, and other methods may lead to the same result.

A fix is available now in the latest EXP release B3187 so this shouldn't happen in saves where it hasn't already triggered.
