Obviously you never considered people who are color blind, I can tell you that the cross hair is a real pain to use, go as far as saying it totally spoils the game in some situations, having the ability to change the crosshairs color would be game changing for me. Yep I can see other parts of the game, but they don't need precise use of some stupid tiny, pathetic, hate filled, little colored pixels, that keep disappearing into the background, just to screw you up, when you need them most. See what they did to me, its evil
Not being able to enable shield during warp. Ok. What happens when scenario designer has a large heavily defended base at warp in point at a planet!?! Your dead before you load for that play field.

"Some mushrooms" included every type that spawns on Temperate starters. They were there in the yaml's but nary a one to be seen in any start. (three restarts on temperate in 1.3 with different seeds to look) I was going to file a bug report this am but saw the update on steam and came to look here first. Thought it may have been an invisibility issue. That first start I died of radiation poisoning as I could not find any. (fog got me. heh) Thanks!
You don't know that. You would have to read all my 4600+ posts to affirm that kind of thing, and I don't have to justify myself to you.
Interesting turn of events. We did not have the "bug" where ships parked close to a building got tossed away in space "until" we did the patch this morning. It is getting out of hand now and happening quite frequently whenever someone pulls up to our welcome center. I am shutting down now, going to re install the patch, then reboot. I'll update when done.
I think I noticed this today on 3207 - My 'damaged hover bike' disappeared. I thought I was losing my mind. What you describe may very well be what happened.
Mine did that yesterday before the patch. The damaged hover bike was nowhere to be seen. Relogged and it popped back. It didn't even show up in ents.
... - Fix for some mushrooms showing invisible I was wanting to report this. Quite worried how nobody in test found this bug earlier because it becomes obvious after just 2-3 hours. Keep the fixes coming, new features are more fun when the game engine works.
Thanks for explaining the scenario loader screen part there @ravien_ff https://empyriononline.com/threads/v1-3-x-patches.96510/page-4#post-425811
Would love to see vegetation that did not appear "flat" , by flat I mean carbon-copy. From a distance all of the trees look the same height, all berry bushes look the same size... Okay some things like the taller trees do "appear" to vary, but loads of other models could resize and still look fine, but don't. All the dead tree-stumps are identical, why? Same with sound effects - having a runtime engine add colour to a sound would make things so much less "oh another spider". Almost all decent PS games do this kind of thing with sound effects. Small things that make it real Anyway, nice patch, loads to fiddle with.
Shut her down, ran update again for shits and giggles, rebooted. My welcome center stopped being a magnet for ships. No further issues.
OK I just read all 4601 posts and as I thought, nothing there about color blind people playing Empyrion with crosshair issues, and yes you do have to justify yourself to me, because I feel superior to everyone, and need the constant attention. Disclaimer: This perfect person excepts no responsibility for any fabrications, truths or untruths, in tended or otherwise, what so ever, under any circumstances, no responsibility will be taken for any thing at all. you read at your own risk.
If that were even remotely true then they would have jacked up the price of the game and stopped updating it a long time ago. To say they don't care is laughable at best. Having priorities and not caring are two very different things. Their priorities won't always align to yours either.
@Spoon : if you want to see developers that don't care even though they have a huge community contributing to their product, go read a bit of the developer blog for Blender 3d. They argue to no end against most criticism on how clunky and counter-intuitive some parts of the software are made, and sometimes will simply say the users have to adapt, not the software. Since it's a GNU licensed product, they know anyone can dive in the source code and fix things, but there is a "core" programmer team that will decide if, yes or no, X or Y community-made fix will get in the main branch. I never saw this kind of attitude here. They may lack communication, they may not be the best programmers in the universe, they may have a somewhat sinuous roadmap, but they do "care" as long as players submit relevant information. For example, many players submit bugs that can stem from problems related to a specific pc config, an OS problem, or conflicting software running at the same time. To make the "perfect bug report template" would require pages of data to be submitted for each bug, but the developers kept it simple for us players to let them sort through all that themselves, with the risk of wasting lots of time on problems they can do nothing about. And because players don't think about these little details, they feel entitled to say "game is full of bugs, has always been full of bugs, and devs are incompetent" etc.
