Die Nummern der (Blocks,Items, etc.) ECF Dateien in Content\Configuration\*.ecf passen nicht mehr zum Spiel :-(
I saw the word "crosshairs"! I jumped up, did a little jig, then slowly sat down. I read no further cuz it's time for my meds. I just hope you're not teasing this old man. I'll get back to you on this later.
It means you can download a file to mod it to whatever you want, but you can't configure it from the game menu in-game.
Not exactly what I had in mind when I called for a crosshair fix. I finished going thru the "Crosshairs" changelog. While I make no bones about my ignorance, this just puts the frosting on my "stupid" cake. I don't think I should have dig into computer files to get something as basic as decent crosshairs. I don't understand any of it and I shouldn't have to. If the intent of the game is to cater to "modders", that's fine. Say so up front. It's late, I'm tired and bitterly disappointed.
Nothing changed from the experimental version, so the workaround I tried to help with should still work. That being said, I dare suggest that you stop casting bad spells on your own self, be it just to show a good example. It's easy to get lost and confused in any domain we're not familiar with, but calling ourselves "dumb" for this is useless and quite unfair. Our brain can easily be tricked into performing better just by telling ourselves how clever we can be sometimes and we're not afraid of challenges, and it works like magic. We just need a little faith sometimes.
Track Driver a raison pas simple pour changer un "Crosshairs" Eleon a encore une fois foiré le truc plutôt que de rendre la fonctionnalité accessible en un simple clic dans le menu du jeux, mais ca m'étonne pas !!
I think there are a few that was hoping for a proper fix for this. Or at least something where you just have to change the crosshair file to the crosshair that you want. Not that we have to create a scenario in the game, just to mod the rubbish crosshair. It's a shame that they didn't look at this in a better way, but as @FUE DENIS says, it's not surprising.
Could it be that you 'found' a NPC-Core which is not destructible? I mean there are now, in the Vanilla Game, at least 4 different Core's in use. The Player Core The NPC-Core - damaged(done by the Builder) The NPC-Core - undamaged The Admin Core
I appreciate the kind words, guys. 2021 is promising. It's been a long time that I forgot to mention that the issue with negative ticks seems to not be happening anymore. I'm playing Project Eden, but it should trigger the issue the same, right? Also it's rare for my bases and ships to disappear. So bravo, guys! The only issue that I need to test if it's still there is with corvettes and similar Zirax OPVs. If you core them and then quit the game to loot the vessel later, then reload the save, the game would keep the label with their names on screen but the ship will be gone/cleared by the game. Does the game have a specific rule to clear ships cored by the player? It only happened to me with corvettes and frigates, but...

Thanks for the comment, but no. I am specically talking about CV cores on non-patrol craft. I could get them to eventually pop, but I had to create a large crater. It appeared that the blocks in a grid above the core, and all around the core, were absorbing all of the damage despite the projectile (missile/plasma bolt) impacting directly on the core.
