Build:1.5.6 3446 Mode: Survival Mode: Solo - Co-Op MODIFIED PLAYFIELDS: no Reproducibility: 100% Severity: can't do anything Type: LCD Projector (text) : "-" in a signet (icon) made a eternal error Description: I put a LCD Projector and wrote my text and i add some <signet xx> (icon) in this text. Later, i need to change something in the text, and i add a "-" in a signet. a small message in red in LCD proprieties saying to do this can does a bug, but, too late, it's instantly : a error sudden appear. I can click for eternity on "continue" but, error never go. I can't remove the "-" or the LCD Projector, nothing. I can't open the console for debug. Steps to Reproduce: 1) put a "-" in <signet xx> Some help to remove the LCD by modified files in Steam or an idea to fix it please ?
Launch the game. While on the main menu, press the command console button. Now remove the check mark in the box labeled "Open on Exceptions". It's top left. Now launch your save file. Unchecking that box makes it so the error popups don't pop up anymore. The errors will still happen, just the box asking you to continue/quit/email won't pop up anymore. That should allow you enough time to get into game and multitool the affected lcd off or possibly edit it. Edit By the way, you have to uncheck that box every time you launch Empyrion if you want it disabled. It re-enables itself each time.
If you need help with trying getting into the save game you can also try uncommenting this setting in the "Empyrion_Example.props" file found in the Empyrion root folder (Right click on Empyrion in your steam library > Properties > Local files > Browse local files) make sure the game is not running first then: Code: # Uncomment the following line if you experience sign (TextMeshPro) related CoQs when loading a savegame # DisableSignDisplayInitially = true Code: # Uncomment the following line if you experience sign (TextMeshPro) related CoQs when loading a savegame DisableSignDisplayInitially = true Make sure you rename "Empyrion_Example.props" to "Empyrion.props" then reverse all of this when you have removed the problematic text/lcd Can you copy & paste here exactly what you have in the LCD edit window that triggers this ?
Can you copy & paste here exactly what you have in the LCD edit window that triggers this ? a exemple : <sprite=21> ==> <sprite=-21> it's arrive because the cursor text is not correct when sprite are actived in text.
