Hello there, i started playing my vanilla savegame a few days ago after a two week holiday. Unfortunatly all buildings and vessels are for some reason white. The colouring tool doesn`t work too. Not just in my singleplayer gameplay. Its in all my savegames. Creative Mode, Singleplayer Survival Mode. When I try to logg to a multiplayer game this message pops up: How do I fix this problem?
You can try the following: Save the Folder for your Blueprints somewhere else, i.e., your Desktop, than clear the Cache of the Game. After that tell STEAM to verify the Game files. If the Problem persists a Dev/Mod will have to look into the issue.
Some savegames might not work after updates, unfortunately. If some of your blueprints refer to texture packs that have been modified in a patch then you may have to correct this yourself by re-texturing your builds in the latest game version. You might need to install a previous working version and put some generic textures in there, save the blueprints, then re-texture them in actual game version.
Thanks I´ll giv it a try. I thought about deleting the game and re-install it. When I start a new game, its the same. All POI´s are white. I think its a file issue with this textures.002 thing after the update.
I have the same game version as you ( 1.5.6.3446 ) and all my file sizes are different than yours. Check your files like @Germanicus suggested, and if this does not correct the issue try uninstalling/ reinstalling the game.
Very strange I have don't recall anyone ever reporting such a problem with the bundles folder message appearing. Can you go delete the bundles folder & run the steam verify integrity of files option ? Steam library > Empyrion > Properties > Local files > Select: verify integrity of game files Also do you have an anti virus that is possibly being too sensitive ? consider adding the Empyrion game directory to a whitelist also before verifying the files with steam.
I would not dare to suggest what @Pantera has posted. I keep with a method of which I know to solve issues from time to time.
Does work again! Yeah Thanks to all your comments. I copied the bundle folder to my desktop as a backup. Then I veryfied my data as Pantera and Germanicus said. Steam told me 3 corrupted files were requested again. Then I started the game loaded my singleplayer game and it worked. I also checked my creative savegame and tried multiplayer, now its all ok. Thank you all, have a nice day/evening/what ever
