    Still no fix regarding the ramps bug? Any ETA to know how long do we have to suffer struggling to board our vessels? They are virtually rendered useless, except for decorative purposes.

    Please provide detailed examples in a bug report so we can see exactly what you are seeing.
    Examples = a save game setup with the default scenario with 1 or more vessels left in exact locations where it can happen for you.

    He may referring to actual using a Boarding Ramp on Foot which seems to be weird as I am too have often to use Jump to being able to Board my CV. But lets hear it from him if he is referring to the same.

    Yep. Especially for SVs, if I don't park it perfectly on the landing deck and wait for the ramp to fully extend the thing will retract the moment I touch it. I've gotten into the habit of jumping over the lip every time I enter.

    I guess the old behavior was that the ramp would block you and push you back as it extended, and then as soon as it was extended enough for you to walk over the lip you got on top of it and entered your ship. But I guess this was pushing people into places where they'd get stuck, hence the safety retract?

    I produced a simple case of this for testing (1.8.4 Creative, though manifests in any 1.7/1.8 version)

    There are two Merc MX5Es on the pad. The one on the left is parked level. When the rear ramp is fully extended you can walk onto it normally. If you approach it and touch it before it is fully extended though it will retract.

    The ship on the right is parked slightly nose-down. When fully extended you can slowly approach the ramp and walk up it, so it should be climbable. If you approach at normal walking speed though the ramp retracts. This commonly occurs when you are parked on terrain.
