I am an Admin on my server and I placed a admin core in a base I wanted to make public, but now my players wont be able to access the cargo box I left for them. How do I remove the core and put a Faction core back in there? If I use a POI cargo box, will they be able to open that one? I thought about putting an alien core there, but then they can just destroy it. The whole purpose of the core was to keep them from destroying the structure.
You can do it with an admin core. Use 'gm iv' in the console to enter gm invisible mode. Point at a container/door you want set to public access and hit P. You can then set the PIN to public (0000). Make sure to hit the doors leading in.
ECubed's answer is exactly what you want to do for structures you spawn in. Alternatively, you could add another playfield with an Admin POI with a PLC (Personal Loot Container) that has loot that you want ALL players to be able to get. PLC's give the same loot to all players that loot them.
