Looks good, but right now it produces an issue with creations being incredibly dark on planets in nights. Not sure what causes this, but perhaps this could be looked at? Here are two screens of what I mean: In Space: Planetside, Night, Creative on Temperate:
It looks like you have no actual Lights. Just Textures and Deco that glow. So without actual lights it is going to be dark.
There are quite a few lights in that scene, you can see the highlights they produce. But it may be a bit of a bad example, because it is too big for the loww light range we are allowed to set and maybe depends a bit too much on the ambient light anyways. Will look for a better example later.
In the near future a patch will allow for an increased distance that the spotlight blocks can be seen from & also an increased distance option for the light blocks to make use of.
So could we perhaps also have the general light strength of the regular light being looked at? They overall seem to be weaker. I am already at strength 4 on many of them on my current build and still struggle to light it up, when I basically never had to use that strength before 1.10 ... The difference isn't huge, but it is noticeable on darker surfaces. E.g. here on the wall slightly above the teleporter That screen is with dynamic shadows off, taken in space.
The game overall has gotten much darker AND the lights have gotten weaker. It's a bad combination. Looking forward to any improvements to this part of the game.
