I am currently working on adding class names underneath the pictures of all the consumables that are listed under flora for those of you that enjoy playfield editing. I'm also taking pictures of non consumables (IE all the plant life and trees, grass, etc...) that are in the game and putting them in this category with a picture and their class name. holy cow gamepedia is a clusterf***, the setup for all of the decorations and harvestable plants is horrible! if i even have permissions to be able to do it ill have to redo the whole freaking page just so that you dont have to load every single image at the same time to be able to view the page... and this is better than wikia?
Update to that response, according to his profile pages last post he has quit editing the wikia (which would be unfortunate since he is that manager of it) as is shown in the quote below =/ i messaged him in hopes that i can at least get the permissions to edit and try to continue the wiki if not im going to continue editing the old wikia page that i have permissions for and try to bring it up to date.
I would suggest that you also add the plant name used in the planet.yaml files to the flora names and pics. This will help a lot of servers looking to fine tune the flora in their biome modifications.
Ahh ok, last time I looked you had only done common names like Aloe Vera without the DesertPlant02 name to go with it. I look forward to seeing your completed list with reference pics! Thank you for doing this for the community!
This is why I steer'd clear of the wiki's. They are ripe with terribad coding and design layout, that it makes me scream and want to just take it all, and redo the hell out of it. But the game is in such flux, I'd be redoing my work every few patches lol! I just dont have that kind of time to devote to fan-work anymore like the old days
no problem i kind of enjoy it lol. im just getting a few done a night i think im going to stick with wikia instead of gamepedia as gamepedia is a clusterf*** of lagginess and horrible setups (more so than wikia can be). but im kind of waiting in general to hear back from hummel to see what he has to say on the matter
im not the one that had origionally posted the majority of it i was just looking through it and decided that since im going through and making a database of it all for myself i might as well get it all uploaded and share with the community. i only started updating about 3 days ago.
