Title says it all. Im in the process of trying to set up an official Lorien Federation vs Scarab Legion server. I personally dont have the time or knowledge needed to build planets from peices of eachother, or how to set up biomes or anything. Id be interested in having a tool or perhaps someone who does have the knowledge help me work on my project. Obviously there will be a special place in my heart for whomever can help.. but i cant pay you =P. I will however make sure to mention you, do the rounds, and ensure that your good deeds get noticed! Ah this was an old post before i started learing the ins and outs to the creation of planets. Im pretty set on my work now and im comfortable with what im doing. I havent finished the guide yet but will soon! New planet was released in the hangar bay post : Seranis
Ah i agree, while still that being said, Ive spent hundreds of hours tinkering with files just for that reason lol. Its amazing how much you can cram into your skull when your determined to have a positive outcome =)
Just wanted to say I've been playing with your released Sector/Playfield files locally. Amazing work Vexray, and thanks for releasing them.
I've been working on one and while much of it is easy, the biomes section is a royal pain. Especially how to lay it out so that it's easy to create/edit stuff in a way that isn't just doing exactly what you do with a text editor. If I can get it working the way I think it could work, it should be pretty powerful though.
