Today I build my first Capital Vessel got to the moon and almost got destroy by the ghost riders bases. My first adventure out of Akua.
No idea just got to the moon saw a bunch o little bases called ghost rider start shooting at me. almost lost my back thrusters
yep I did. and I've built for a while. however.. downloading an update while being unable to connect is a bit tricky
I tried, but the tilt changes when I move forward, I have not found a way to set the tilt at a specific angle and have the ship keep that orientation while moving forward. I'm also having issues with the harvester, it seems not to work on certain trees (even after removing the drills). Side note, Steam is back up.
I perform the Tilt with my Mouse then dig forward aggressively, then after a bit of this a Diagonal Shaft is begun then for me my Hover Engines rest on this Diagonal & stay floated on it naturally not unlike how they would if ya were on a Mountain Slope pointing straight downhill. Unsure why it'd be different for you, unless ya mean ya are having difficulties maintaining the Tilt long enough to get the Initial Entrance to the new Hole Drilled diagonally, in which case, perhaps we could look at a BP of your HV to see if there's potential Issues with its Design. (Mining HVs really are a whole nother Beast compared to Normal HVs, that's for sure.) Include info of its Stats Screen, especially how many RCS are on duty. Mining HVs have a much stronger need for high RCS Power then normal HVs. This sounds Bug Report worthy. Bout damn time! *Kicks Steam in the Shins for the trouble it's caused us*
I've been workin' on the spaaace station, All the live-long day... That last room? Building that was.... trippy. Anyone spot why?
At first I thought I struck pay dirt: but then, right behind those two, WERE TWO MORE, including the Large Outpost! Yee haw!
Spot on. It's the area at two gravity generators at 90 degree angles overlap their fields. Feels very natural to walk through. Very odd placing slope blocks to walk on and cubes for slants.
Yeah this is the first game I've gotten mot So wait....the direction of the gravity generators actually affects which way is "down"? Or am I misunderstanding this.
