I am not sure if this a steam only issue or a steam + Empyrion issue. But me and a friend tried downloading random blueprints, they won't show. I've had no issues with the game and my blueprints folder is fine. In fact I subscribed to some only yesterday. Not sure what is going on. I looked in the blueprint folder nothing new is being created.
Quite possibly a steam issue from where you are downloading from in the world. I just downloaded multiple to test & they downloaded fine. Can you check out the steam workshop logs from the steam installation location ? C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\logs Also to consider how many in total are you subscribed to ?

Sorry I edited my comment above I should have said look at the steam logs incase anything is shown in them: You might need to give it another try in another few hours & see if it is still the same.
Ok looks ok from the log at least. Can you try out these also: 1) In the steam client click on steam in the top left & select settings then select downloads. Now click on the 'Clear Download cache' option. Restart steam & try again. 2) Turn your PC off then turn your internet modem/router off then back on after about 30 seconds then start everything up again & try again.
I am sorry Pantera, those logs are from after she installed. The first two from her client log. But she deleted steam and Empyrion and reinstalled both. So they wont have any errors. I looked at mine, I don't see any errors.
clearing my download cache won't delete my blueprints will it? at least right now I cant download anything new, but I don't want to lose what is there like her either! Should be interesting to note we both had a disappearing issue with a base where half of it was missing. I just logged out and logged back in and the base was back. I had her check her blueprint folder, it is empty, even after she unsubscribed and re-subscribed to the blueprints she had.
It shouldn't delete anything uploaded or already/previously downloaded it is only to clear the download cache but if you prefer make a backup of everything before you try doing this. Something else I thought of just now for you to try is to try changing your steam download region to another location & restart steam & see if that changes anything. We know of this issue but haven't been able to reproduce it for debugging to find the root cause unfortunately.
Ok, no worries, I am so thankful for you trying to help me. Disappearing base could be related to so many things a server might be doing Ill report back as soon as I have tried.
Ok the blueprint is in game fine. However, I downloaded like 20 blueprints, they ALL show up in game. However, they don't show up in my Empyrion blue prints folder? How come?
When you subscribe to a blueprint from the workshop they go to this folder: Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\383120 (383120 is the app id for EGS)
