Mode: Creative, Single player Modified Playfields: No Reproducibility: Always Severity: Minor Type: Global? Summary: Bug with light settings and symmetry Description: When placing a light after adjusting the settings of another light (in the P menu), the newly placed light will replicate the settings of the previously adjusted light. The potential bug occurs when doing this with symmetry turned on. The light that is directly place will respect the previous light's settings, but the symmetric twin of the newly place light will have the default settings. Steps to Reproduce: 1) Turn on symmetry 2) Place a light somewhere 3) Adjust the light settings 4) Place another light (somewhere off the symmetry plane) 5) Check the device settings of the two new lights. The one directly placed will have the previously adjusted light's device settings (as it should) while the symmetric twin of the new light will have the default settings (which I interpret as a bug) Screenshots and whatnot: Placed and adjusted light: Placed light (has previously placed light's settings): Symmetric twin of placed light (has default settings):
Creative, when mirroring lights, the ones you place keep the settings, the ones that are mirrored on the other side dont have the settings.
When in mirror mode placing a lights, a duplicate is placed on the other side but with default settings. So if you set up a light with the colour red, the light on the other side of the structure will be there but not red only with the default settings.
