Must be a bug, per the in game info on the CV turrets, only the Cannon and Rocket Turrets are meant to work planet side.
Indeed, sir! It's posted here, second ship in the post. Both cvs there are in the zip file, so feel free to delete the one you don't want anfter you download. Enjoy!
The Thorn is the vessel I built in my series to go destroy all the plasma drones. It's a simple wedge shape loaded with turrets. It is very light and handles like a small SV. You can dodge base turret fire with this ship! (And you'll want to because it is not armored.) The interior is very simple but does contain an O2 station and warp drive. This ship is intended for space use only and is not designed to land on planets, although I did land it on Aestus. The trick was getting back in since the doors are on "top" of the back. The back side of the ship: I also made an unarmed version for anyone who wants to put their own turret or weapon loadouts on it, or just use it for getting around. Resource requirements: Code: Ingots Armed Unarmed Fe 1420 1200 Cu 840 600 Si 770 600 Co 550 320 Sa 130 130 Nd 110 70 Build 2:25 1:48
Once again it's preview time kiddies! Why always a preview and no BP file? Because these ships are incomplete, and will remain that way until the game has more blocks and mechanics. This one is missing some crucial steep slopes, but we don't have those yet. The ship is called the Lancet, its a full-sized frigate that is 61 blocks long and about 1.5kt at this point:
It's more supposed to be a cutter type ship hull, a sub would be rounder in the nose. Also, don't forget to run thru these threads every so often, I will post the BP's later. If really HAVE to have BP's for these ships now, there are examples of the ship somewhere on the Eleon Public Test Server. Also, remember to like a ship you see if you appreciate the effort! Happy Hunting!
I build 2 CV in the last days, i hope you like it. First: A small Cruiser inspired by the Klingon D7 and K'tinga Ships. Second: A Carrier inspired by the Kushan Carrier from Homeworld. I build the Carrier without Weapons and many Equipment, because I wanted him cheap. So it is easier to spawn him in a survival Game. Sorry for my bad english.
VERY NICE WORK on D7! I am so gonna get screen shot of it and the Enterprise together one of these days.
Including my designs so far, have not had the game long but I will almost always build at base tech and material levels. Not all are great, but all work. The Molly Rome was my first and built in survival mode. I actually love the ship but cannot make surface landings in it's current form.Equipped with everything you need to reach distant worlds. I have also included all small vehicles shown in this ============================================================ The Ceres Independence Class Explorer is a comfortably sized self contained long range explorer. equipped for warp travel and long excursions to the edge of the verse. Set down on world and it quickly becomes your base of operations. Equipped with a ground vehicle and aerospace hanger the Ceres is an affordable home for those living on the fringe. Also now armed with three Hellstar CS39 Anti-ship launchers and a Cormyrr Arms CA-M3 automated missle system for those valuing privacy and long life. Introducing the new Valefor SSV (Space Superiority Vessel). For global security on a budget the Valefor allows you to extend a military presence throughout your system with two large hangers that can with some modification suit two levels of craft and a vehicle hanger for ground operations. Well armed and armored the Valefor offers both comfort to its modest crew of forty five and quarters for another twenty for less agressive operations. Also thanks to our patented OSIAA (Oh ****, I Am Alone) virtual management system a single person can operate most basic functions of the vessel in the event of an emergency though not recommended.
That's a nice prototype you have there Nickolai, mind sharing how far along you've gotten with progress? The color scheme looks great!
HMS Crescens MK-I: Classification: Siege Perilous Area Superiority Mobile Base 25 kilotonnes 50-100 MW "I like that she looks so plain and uninspired, it gives everyone the wrong idea about what they're up against." ~Major_Dilemma~ Overview: Designed from keel-plate to crows nest as a deep range, mid-sized CV, with an integrated split-level hangar bay for SV and HV deployment. The Siege Perilous class Mobile Base, is able to foray into the unknown, establish a presence in any system and hold that territory come hell or high water. It's robust power generation & apogee motor system, allows it to achieve ground-to-space using less than 50% of it's potential power. As such, it is one of a very few ships that is still capable of engaging enemy targets during liftoff procedures. Despite her appetite, the Crescens is able to traverse vast distances thanks to her capacious energy reserves. Properly managed, she is capable of maintaining flank speed for as long as 6 hours. Better, if one shuts off more of the non-essential systems. Features include: Built in damage mitigation for the fuel reserves. Fuel tanks are separated into 8 banks, so the loss of one does not result in the loss of all. A fully operational hydroponics deck. Recessed docking bays (to better protect SV & HV assets). Spherical weapons engagement envelope. Full resource processing & management functionality. Crew amenities and more. While best crewed by a Faction team numbering 5 or better, Crescens, is more than capable of being operated solo if one is savvy about energy management.
I've made small progress but I deciced that I will upload the schematic when I come back home. Keep in mind I am having serious issues about the manouveralibity of the ship.It can't turn to save its life. I know that putting 500 RCS's doesnt fix the problem, yet I used the tried and trusted method of putting 3 RCS's (in the front, middle and back) but still the ship's turn rate is horrible. Maybe its because it weighs in around 28 Kilotons. lol
For those who like to shuttle people around on multiplayer servers, I present you the TASH800 (SV Shorthaul) with connection service to the Herk (CV Longhaul). Both ships have lots of Passenger seats with passenger comfort items such as complentary oxygen stations and storage bins. There are no limits to checked or carry -on luggage weights: CV: Herk SV: TASH800 SV: TASH800 (Passenger seating with overhead emergency oxygen station) Herk carrying TASH800
