Some videos have music that helps keep the tension and fatigue low, while spending hours, building in creative mode. Sitting for hours in the same position while being "consumed" concentrated on a build, makes some people feel tired in the end, but not while listening to relaxation music in the background. Oh wait, the above reminds me this...
I don’t. I think I may have used creative mode once to figure out how to get something to work, otherwise you’ll find me in Survival.
Been listening to more of the darker techno: and others by the same artist(he has bunches.) That last one is pretty sweet.
I always turn off all music in game until i'm well over 300 hours of play.. then i turn that in game music on. I usually get another 50-100 hours before i need to turn that off again. But right now the sound track is fresh and fitting. I little repetitive so it will not last long... if i had to i would go with some liquid this one is the best of all time for me but also Shingo Nakamura
Bumpity bump bump bump a bump bump bump bump bump tssssshhhhh!!! ----------------------------------- This has tickled my fancy lately:
I do my building in space, so Chill Synthwave it is... Makes me want to build in bright colors... which I won't do without a good reason.
Is there a way to maybe allow the game to peer onto the web, so players could just connect to a radio station or the like ? I mean a way without opening the back door to hackers. Or would that effect MP data flow to much, streaming music.? I stream in backround of game sometimes , in MP and it doesnt seem to effect me, ping stays say, but we have fast connection here now at 100megs speed. If this is possible, it completely solves all music issues in creative., very few creative MP servers anyway, because you can play anything you like effectively.
I guess that depends on if the radio stations are a feature of the game server. Otherwise, I would expect it would work very much like you streaming as you currently do with zero integration. You get nice benefits from this, such as being able to run your streaming app on a different CPU core than the game, two different servers providing your data, and two different network paths. One you start to combine the radio streaming and the games functions, that integration begins to create dependencies between apps that have the potential to affect performance, depending on the feature and the implementation. For instance, if you want the Empyrion game to control the volume of the channel, then you probably end up with a small price to be paid by your game client in having to detect and react to those interactions, even if its just going to use an OS feature to send a quick message to the OS or some other application. If you want the server to be able to interrupt streams with important announcements, then your stream might be coming from the same server that is passing out timely location and combat updates. The stream and the updates can compete for the attention of a network card, networking equipment, etc. Since the game server has to aggregate incoming data and send out updates to many players, the load on that end is bigger.
All I do is open a web broswer or a media player in the background and listen to my favorite music while playing.
This just makes me happy: I am on a Juno Reactor kick. Here is the very famous Mona Lisa Overdrive: So much of their music is incredibly brilliant:
