I have noticed this as well, but only randomly and on rare occasions. I think there's several graphics bugs that need fixing in general.
It's very reproducable in the save file I posted. I have it every time I'm in there. So I hope they can find it/fix it. :/
I think I reported this in EXP, so it's been a while. I just planted some tomatos here today. Will check when they are grown and report back.
As of the current public A12 release, I'm no longer seeing this happening. I observed the plants in all stages (although I didn't check in the stage where you pick them, but I will next time, but it was previously occurring in all stages if I remember right, so I'm pretty confident this is fixed). Please close this; if it happens again, I will ask for this re-opened or re-report.
