I expected the Y key to turn off power to the SV if I am looking at the SV. Workaround is to jump in the cockpit, press Y, then jump out, or use the power switch on the P menu. It was always so that you have to be seated IN the Vehicle when turning it off with the Y-Key.. Using the P-Menu while pointing at it gives you only the way to SWITCH it off.
The way it has always worked for me, P key pulls up the structure you are looking at, if the structure you are looking at is out of range it pulls up the structure you are standing on/touching instead (if you own it or public). The Y key always operates the structure I am standing on/touching. So if my SV is parked on my base and I want to switch the SV on/off I have to either 1) Stand on the SV then press Y. 2) Enter the SV then press Y. 3) Look at (or enter) the SV and use the P menu.
