Mode: Survival Mode: Singleplayer SERVER NAME: n/a SEED-ID: 507428 If applicable: MODIFIED PLAYFIELDS: DontKnow (added planets and made "snow" planet a starter) Reproducibility: Sometimes (possibly always) Severity: Minor Type: Death messages Summary: Oxygen death after melee death gives wrong message Description: Dying from lack of oxygen after dying from a melee attack from a creature repeats the message that you died of a melee attack, instead of dying from lack of oxygen. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to an oxygenless world. 2. Enter combat with some creature, and let it kill you via a melee attack (in my case, it was an Oviraptor). You get a message of something like "You died to a melee attack". 3. Let your oxygen run out, and die of asphyxiation for the next death. 4. Notice that instead of saying you died of lack of oxygen, you get again "You died to a melee attack". If you die again from lack of oxygen, you will keep getting the melee attack message. Note: These were my very first deaths in the game; not sure if that has any relevance or not. While you can't see it, there were absolutely no creatures around me when I took that screenshot. I died from lack of oxygen. There were no creatures at all around my backpack when I came back to retrieve it, and in fact died again from lack of O2 and got the same message a second time. (... this happens when you cannot get to level 3 and get the materials for the portable constructor fast enough to make fuel to run your O2 generator on an oxygenless world... )
