Its only the unpredictability of how much the drilled Rock will yield that gives you troubles - with W/V active. Thats all. Just include a warning for those who enable W/V - you don't have to please everyone - yet.
Soooo, this is a bit much. Not in terms of difficulty, but in terms of theme. It is a little like every creepy crawly is spawned in just this one local. With the furthering of the infested stuff, do you have a more cohesive motif in mind? ........ I love the dozen different planets types and all the dang colors and everything. The pentaxid is sexy as hell and the crystals do not give loot?! You.... you.... bastard! I love it! And what the hell is happening here: its like this planet is bleeding from its pores?! So good! Also, ample use of golems will always yield +10 awesome points from me. They are so much fun to hunt and kill and make such great little bags of loo... I mean, terrifying monsters and excellent ambiance! And speaking of awesome, you gave the Abyssal mystery and an aura: Yup, you nailed that; it is precisely what they are good for/what they were designed for. Also, side note; I love all the little planet descriptions. Turned out to be one of the best parts of the journey. but now... ... ... ... also... Rados are funny looking and smell bad! *snickers*
Have truncated the farm from an unfinished concept base and made it stand alone as an POI. A place for an merchant is left free behind the tables. Should work best with a groundoffset of -20. Sizeclass is 4.3 or so. If needed i can build more for you in that style or another.

I noticed the text at the bottom right; are you planning on having the player start on one of these at some point? That could be.... craziness...
Eeek. That's... not supposed to happen. That can happen if the game can't spawn the starter planet for some reason. Happen to have the seed for that save?
No rush. Did you manually change the seed in the new game start menu or did you leave the seed at whatever the game initially set it to? There's a bug with changing seeds where you have to select a different scenario and then reselect project eden to get a new seed to take effect. You can tell because changing the seed should change the names of the starter planet. That might be what caused you to spawn on a frozen hell.

I have run into the occasional COQ error while out and about in Eden, but the more consistent is when I am in menu and I click to change the seed it generates an error but otherwise lets me play through. Not sure if that is the bug you are referring to. In any event, off I go to more POI building.
Can't say whats the cause, might be the recent Exp Patch or something else...nevertheless I am getting a CoQ when trying to talk with a Polaris Trader...
Yeah that is the bug with changing seeds. If you don't select a different scenario and then reselect the one you want to play, I think the seed will be messed up and cause issues like starting on the wrong planet. Thank you. I'll have to look into this on the weekend when I get some more time. Does it happen with any custom trader or just this biofuel trader? Do you get an error with default traders too? (Aunt mary, MA corp, etc) I swear if my traders are broken I'm going to break down and cry spend a few hours testing and fixing them.

Midnight planets are so dark that even with a ship full of spotlights it is impossible to play... Jungle planets have so many trees that is impossible for a HV to move in decent speeds from one place to another without constant stopping, to either chop trees or, change direction in order to free the HV from blocked positions between trees that the harvest modules do not reach.
How are midnight planets with night vision? Jungle planets are supposed to be difficult to traverse on the ground. Their ore deposits are buried deep but in easy to dig dirt but this might mean using an SV or CV to explore instead of an HV. The jungle might need more treasures/things to find in it though to make it more rewarding to explore.
I was not able to progress through the lost colony. Figuring something had gone wrong I popped into god mode and discovered one mighty little light: Removing it causes a collapse and he player can proceed: Also, really neat:
Thanks for finding that! They did change structural integrity so that must be why it doesn't fall anymore. I'll get that fixed in the next update.
Update: Planets and Moons: - New Moon: Crystalline Two versions added. - Dead Starter: Tweaked textures, loot, and added military caches (thanks to Fractalite). - Snow Starter: Should be able to progress to the bottom floor of the Lost Colony now. - Swamp Starter: Tweaked starting equipment. You won't start with an overfilled inventory anymore with mass/volume enabled and removed old drill. - Tropical Planet: Added full Deluxe Akua Resort POI set (massive thanks to Yunaleska_Kurryku). Added a second version of the main Akua Deluxe Resort that has fewer windows. It's a random chance which one you'll get spawned. If the windowed one is too laggy for too many people I'll remove it. Added the Empress patrol vessel to some tropical planets. Biome tweaks. Space: - Added 2 new freighters to standard Polaris freighter set. (Thanks to Bink, jrandall) - Added a new Syndicate (Zirax) freighter to middle orbits. (Thanks to Siege)
@Germanicus I've discovered some... Oddities... With custom traders and workshop uploads. I'm trying to figure out exactly what the steps to reproduce it are then I'll file a bug report.

The recent fresh start on the Swam Planet revealed several POI's to be floating 2 blocks above Ground or, like some Zirax POI's, are lowered deep into the surface.
