I suggest you also check the blueprint, or the vehicle itself in a solo game (if you can of course), and see if it has modded blocks of any kind. Since you're not the server owner there's not much you can do, and even using the savegame tool will not tell you why the ship was not loaded by the game or "marked as removed": the server owner can see that in logs or in the console. Like I wrote previously, if this is in any way related to the game refusing to re-load something because it has problematic modded blocks, then it is context specific : scenarios have their own versions of some blocks, and vanilla servers can have their own too, or even none. Try to pinpoint at what time these problems started occuring, to help closing in to some patch or changes made around that time.
Project Eden is so big that I keep discovering things to do every day. Yesterday I found Alien Caves for the first time, their hidden creatures with alien organisms (tm) as a reward. Today I saw my first Possible Signal and a bunch of scattered promethium tanks. Such a joy.
Thank you. I was trying with the survival tool and for some reason I was getting the message that the tool is not appropriate for the mining I was trying to perform, even I had it on the resource drill mode. Tried with a drill turret and works fine.
Hi I respawned in Excavation site. "BA_CivelExcavationSiteSnow" in a clone chamber. The clone chamber is on its side with the opening facing up. There is no way to get out of the clone chamber. I had to destroy me to get out. Is that one of yours, can you fix it going forward?
Anything without a prefix like Eden or R is a default game poi. I'll see if I have time to submit a fixed blueprint to the devs.
How did you get custom config files to work? Ones such as ItemConfig_Eden.ecf? I tried making a custom file in my game folder but it didn't seem to do anything.
The files with the Eden on the end don't do anything. You need to use ItemConfig.ecf See the workshop scenario in my signature for an example scenario.
Oh, that's disappointing. I was hoping to be able to just keep an itemsconfig file with only my changes in it like you could do with config.ecf. Thanks! I will check out the guide anyway.
@ravien_ff can correct me if I'm wrong but files like "ItemsConfig_Eden.cfg" are not used by the game. They are just references to what's new. "ItemsConfig.ecf" is used instead. If you want to change any Project Eden files and add your own stuff, you'll need to create a scenario based on Project Eden so when Ravien updates his project you won't lose your stuff.
