Question about blocks

Hi all;

I've got quite a simple idea since I've built a battlestar CV on our server and would really like a wing of vipers flying in formation for coolness... My idea is to have the cag viper with a core and duplicates spaced around in static delta formation fixed in place with the leader with some kind of invisible blocks... Is this possible?

 

You don't need invisible blocks. Ships and bases do not need to be attached. Easiest to build it in creative though with the copy and paste tools.

 

Okay ravien will give it a go later and if it turns out okay I'll let you know

Okay think I've got it, have published on workshop and called it 'Bomber wing' to test it on our server... The ships are not fully armed yet because I use default config files in creative but let me know what you think of the general direction I'm going in
