Reforged Eden Scenario

    No changes have been made to solar power on our end. Any issues would be related to changes to Empyrion's code, but since this is unique to CVs it will not be supported by Eleon either.

    Please allow Steam time to update your workshop content which can sometimes take awhile before starting a new game. You may have to unsubscribe and resubscribe to get it to download.

    IMPORTANT FOR SERVERS:
    Before copying the updated scenario to your server, go to the Reforged Eden scenario folder on your server and delete the contents of the SharedData/Content/Bundles/ItemIcons folder under the scenario.
    This will remove the April Fools icons. Then you can copy over the updated scenario from the workshop.

    Hey there! been having trouble getting reforged Eden Scenario to work properly in Coop! It works fine in Single player. But once I made a new game and tried to load it as coop, the server window remains completly blank and hangs while the main game fails to connect to server. As far as I know it was mostly plug n play for coop, you didn't need to do anything fancy for playing custom scenarios with coop?

  6. It's a game bug.

    See this bug report. Read Panteras post for a possible temporary solution.

    If the temporary fix doesn't work for you then all you can do is wait.

    In my Dedicated Game deploying the "deployable hoverbike" disconnects the client. (works in singleplayer)
    eac on, other mod is empyrion scripting (should not be relevant)

    the server log more or less asys the client disconnected.

    Somehow I did not catch it would not work bevore.
    But I think I disabled it now for my game.
    (won't really matter for me, there will probably never be other players on the server)

    It says in the tooltip in bold that it doesn't work in MP... yet.

    Oh, I'm great in overlooking stuff, aren't I? :oops::rolleyes:

    Maybe I should sleep a night and take a second look at it bevore posting my problems, then I might see the tooltip and the other things i overlook so often...

    Still I really have to thank you and all the other who helped me for being so patient and helpfull.

    An abstract question: will the ability to change the ItemConfig via Config return, or will you have to change the values all the time right in the ItemConfig?

    I use config.ecf for balancing project eden with reforged galaxy so I too want them to maintain config.ecf but they seem like they are going to stop supporting it.

    Just noticed destroying ships (and bases) no longer gives reputation.
    Soldiers killed by turrets seem also not to register.
    So only way to get reputation i see is on foot combat.
    Did I miss another way to get rp?

    also i'm curious, is it a vanilla change or RE change?

    If you aren't in a CV, then the turrets don't give XP; for base you have to manually control the turret to get XP. That's always how it's been.
    Destroying blocks for factions will only give you negative rep and NEVER positive rep due to a vanilla exploit, where mining asteroid POIs nets infinite rep.

    Oh, I kind of knew the exploit, i just destroyed actuall blocks not mining... so this one makes sence.

    Right now I need to get my reputation up; xp are no problem for that i can just harvest loads of plants, easy.
    do drones give reputation? (if so under what conditions)
    I dont want to go spider and raptor hunting...
    (and why does killing Legacy not give anny reputation?)

    PS: how about a CV Teleporter with solar system range?
    I often wished i could teleport to another planet without having to make a stop in a BA in the start sector.
