I thought the SV thrusters on the Heidelberg were lore? I figure some engineer installed the wrong thrusters, which is why the ship crashed when it entered atmo: not enough thrust! Thinking out loud, I wonder if it's possible to make a damaged thruster block specifically for POIs like this. Basically something that can only be salvaged or deconstructed and yields a fraction of the parts of the actual thruster. It would let the player get something "reasonable" from a crashed CV without making it too OP for early game.
There are some dialogues (EGS\Content\Scenarios\Reforged Eden\Content\Configuration\Dialogues.ecf) that are not in the csv file - can you transfer these with the next updates, so i can make a translation for that. Many thanks :-D

Hi, Will updating to the current v1.5.5 Experimental cause issues with Reforged Eden does anyone know? Experimental game version plus testing version of RE 1.5 sounds like there may be some gremlins in there. Perhaps it's too early to know, but thought I'd ask... Scoob.

There have been reports of CVs being partially deleted because of Solar Panel calculations. If you or someone you know has been affected, you may not be entitled to financial compensation. You may need to remove your solars though, since there's a good chance that they'll be removed from CVs and substituted for a new set of solar panels that won't require capacitors in the near future. Unfortunately, since the panels you use on CVs are part of the vanilla game, they can't be auto-removed/replaced. So that means illegal blueprints for everyone using solars. The new solars will be simplified but will produce the same amount of power regardless of distance to the sun.
I just loaded my current RE game in the v1.5.5 Experimental as a test. The most obvious, immediate issue is that certain blocks have no textures. Blocks such as the Elevator Block and Railing are pure white. I wonder if this is a vanilla issue too, or just a poor interaction with the changes made by RE. Edit: I'm also seeing certain objects such as plants and rocks vanish as I approach them Some are fine, I can collect / mine them but other just vanish. It seems random and it's not just affecting certain ones. I.e. I successfully pick a certain type of mushroom and Alien Thorn, then the next couple vanish as I approach them, never to appear again. It's a bit weird lol. Scoob.

Don't worry about reporting issues with the scenario in exp. If you really do want to help need to play vanilla exp and report bugs to the devs so they can fix them.

Hi, I started in the Beta system and only have a handful (loot mostly) of the rare resources like Gold, Erestrum and Zascosium. I've looted extensively and recycled (Desconstructor) rather a lot of stuff on the Starter Planet Roggery, however I'm still really short on these resources. Any tips or has RNG gone against me? Note: I have a basic CV, but desperately need T2 CPU, not that I can actually build a Warp Drive. I have built a jump-capable SV, but not sure where to go to look for what I need. A bit tired of POI raiding, need a rest lol, so wondered if there are any mineable locations in the starting system I might visit. Note 2: I don't want to play shopping simulator at the various trading stations if I can help it, I don't really like buying what I require. Cheers, Scoob.
You do not need gold, erestrum, or zascosium for a starter cv. But if you really want some you'll have to raid POIs, trade, or kill golems (not sure if they drop rare ore in Reforged though).
I have a starter CV, it's just finding the requirements for more advanced upgrades in the starting system that's the issue. I have a jump-capable SV, but nowhere seems to have Erestrum or Zascosium, plus Gold is really rare. I'm POI raiding - have taken down several quite touch ones, but have been unlucky with loot, just gaining readily obtainable resources. I have killed Golems and gotten some Neodymium as the rarest drop from them - though I've been finding rocks of this stuff, so have a decent amount. I've also visited the various trade stations and they don't seem to have what I need, either materials or the Large Optronic Bridges etc. Usually, I'd find enough in the starting system to cobble together a fairly decent warp-capable CV. However, this time, likely due to RNG, I'm just not getting what I need. I'll keep exploring and POI-raiding, hopefully I'll get what I need. Once my CV can warp, I'll be fine. Scoob.
Not directly perhaps, but I do need a T2 CPU extender to have the capacity for one. I've built a salvage CV, throwing on it whatever I could find. Also, I will double-check, but CV Warp Drive is greyed out saying I'm missing something. It is of course unlocked in the tech tree. I have lots of the basic materials, just low on Gold and have zero Zascosium, so I assumed the Warp Drive was greyed out due to missing one of those. Point about needing more CPU stands though, I used a single extra-large (salvaged) thruster for the rear so it'd move decently, perhaps I could replace it with a couple of lesser thrusters to save CPU. It'll be a slug though lol. Scoob.
