Ca anyone explain how does hydroponics work? I discovered non specialized one a built it but it is empty
It is used as a component to make all the specialized ones and also as a placeholder of "dead"/empty hydroponics due to lack of oxygen etc.
I need help again Where should I look for rare ores like Erestium or Zascosium? What type of stars or planets are those present? In Vanilla it was easy but in RE I did not find it yet
Barren Metall in hot systems mostly have medium zascosium and small ersestrum for me (ore deposits turned up in settings) also gold and prometium. I guess on normal settings there still is some zascosium, prometium and gold, but erestrum might be in cold systems. Still anything Barren Metall, or Elder Barren are good planets to check. (you know you can see deposit count in system map info display?)
To see deposit counts I have to reach a system first. Also there is one thing that bothers me. I am playing with limited internet access (in a train) and sometimes on ores list there is no picture and some file info instead of ore name. Is this connected to network connection?
No. They'll probably be removed since there's just too many blueprints now. Half the workshop are Reforged blueprints now. It was originally there for the early days before everyone started playing it so people could jump in without needing to make new ships.
i have a problem with reforged eden , when i try to create a coop game , the screen gets stuck on the loading screen . help please and thanks
Can you remove extreme number of explosion blocks on POIs that have them The tend to collapse 90% of the POIs and offer nothing but extreme lag due to overlapping visual effects during the explosions, that slow down the game for no reason at all. Also it is ridiculous, that after the explosions 90% of the POI is gone. I am referring to Zirax POIs like "Fuel Distribution Hub" and "Advanced Power Station" or whatever it is called.
It is rather realistic that those stuff is explosive... How about not blowing 'em up if you don't like the fireworks? At least the Fuel depot can easyly done without blowing everything up, just watch where you are shooting (large tanks of fuel tend to go BOOM)
I usually neuter them while not triggering the explosives. I thought that was the "thing" for certain POI's. Take the quick route to pull the self destruct level and lose many of the salvageable goodies, or take the slightly longer approach to preserve them. I don't really get the slow-down if I do trigger the boom, a momentary snag while the game thinks about it, but that's it.
@me777 For a couple of times yes it is nice to watch. But it gets boring after a while. You have seen it all and there is no surprise. @Scoob Accidents can happen. If you see the video the blow up starts after the POIs turret explodes. The explosion has splash damage the triggers the blow up. I do not want to "watch over my shoulder" every time I approach similar POIs It is ok for some of the first times but after that it gets tedious and boring. If you can blow up all POIs and just loot the containers there is no fun doing so.
Dear Devs is it possible to add delay slider just like the one in lamps to gatling and laser guns? For example I have four gatlings and those shot altogether. It would be great to set delay between them so those shoot aone after another.
Looks like the amount of Hell and Nightmare planets infested with harvesters was considerably decreased in RE 1.8. Am I right? After the last patch I need to check at least 8-10 hot sun systems to find one Hell planet and only every 6-th or 7-th Hell planet has harvesters. So totally I have to check at least 40-50 K, B, O systems to find a planet that can give me drone parts. And amount of drone parts harvestable from one Hell planet decreased for 30-35% too. Was this deterioration intended? IMHO deterioration != optimization.
Hell planets were made a bit rarer, however every hell planet will have drone swarm POIs, but there are exceptions. Please read the PDA and the orbital playfield descriptions to find out why you're not seeing drone swarm POIs on some hell planets.
Look like I missed something? Ok, thank you. Frankly saying I was not so attentive and mostly I do not read descriptions to planets at all. Just noticed that earlier that was MUCH easier to find planets with harvesters. Well, will dive into details more attentively. Anyway, great job! I can not imagine myself playing vanilla after I discovered RE.
So another question: In RE scenario there are solar panels for capital vessels. Do I have to put them outside the ship? Does those always provide small amount of energy no matter where placed? I want to place them inside my ship
