Will the PDA update reset The Infected questline for players on a server? (just 3 of us, so can do it individually if necessary).

 

This concerns the base code of the game, here I understand you!
... then maybe - you and Vermilion can make "improved engines" in the tab "improved technologies" , where are the improved turrets ... and these engines will have increased speed and acceleration parameters ?!

No point because the max values of speed are hardcoded. Only characteristics like mass/volume and thrust can be edited and thus improved.

 

No, we cannot increase the max speed of ships.

One more question - will the latest version play nice with 1.8.4, I don't want to update Empyrion at the moment.

 

I would recommend not updating the scenario if you're still on an older version of the game.

 

Stumbled on another small issue, which might be something you can fix? On sharee I get an exception spam if I get close to the 'Ancient Tower' POI. The console shows an Error message:

 

Not sure what would cause that. The blocks in it are 100% vanilla.

 

Maybe it's an NPC?

 

There was an undocumented change to the Infected Talon mesh in the latest update. Could be that, except there are no infected talon in that POI.

 

Now that the tribal anvil is part of that mesh group, is there some funky merge issue with that group again?

 

Shouldn't be.
I added the Tribal Anvil to the block group in an update like... a month or two ago.

 

Guys, do you plan to add Creadibility missions from vanilla to the mod? I spoiled relationship with Talon pretty bad at start, so now I cannot do main quest, and the only way to restore relationship is to kill thousands of Zirax, which is pretty boring...

Undelivered cargoes help,and also kill hostile creatures in the area of their POIs to increase standing. Finally you can kill anywhere their foes to gain more standing.

Thanks for advices, but they are useless. I've found like 50 cargo boxes so far, and none of them where related to Talon.
Trying to increase rep by killing hostile creatures is slower than killing Zirax soldiers, also a lot of Talon people spawn there too, so you can do more harm than good.

 

Kill foes of the faction you want to increase the status with, at the home planets of those foes where the factions you want to increase the status with, are not present. Also no faction soldiers are spanned inside POIs of another faction, as far as I know. Exploit this, since standings change no matter how far you are with that faction you want. Pay attention on the top left side where the points appear and you might understand what I mean.
