    Yeah, it's Reforged Eden. I'll look up that xenostuff trader then.
    I figured you are the balancer so itt would be appropriate to post here.

    No Zascorium and Erestrum yet in our playthru so I've put hardened steel around the thruster gondolas, core and T2, and the bridge area.

    I do not know damage, armor value and stacked armor mechanics, so I'm thinking about 2 variants:
    -a weaker fluff on harder armor, like carbon composite full blocks over steel - let attacks blow off the weaker outer layer, easily rebuilt
    -a stronger thin-block layer over weaker blocks, like combat steel thin blocks over steel - the thin, low HP ones will resist the damage by high armor
    Both versions aren't so heavy, but which is effective?

    Check your PDA and complete the "Make Contact with Terran Forces" mission. It will unlock new sections in the Empyriopedia.

    Player armor? Depends on what armors and boosters you have available.
    If temperature isn't a problem where you are, Mobility Boosters + Improved Light Armor make you run like the wind and jump 2m high. Certainly useful for getting around your base, if nothing else.
    Otherwise... Reinforced Medium Armor + Mobility, Multiboost and Armor for normal use.

    Keep an eye out for Advanced Boosters (The magenta ones), they're rare but each one of them is worth double a normal booster. On a Low-G world T2 Mobility and Jetpack boosters on Reinforced Medium Armor will let you run, jump and fly like a madman.

    Balance:
    SV weapons seem to be a bit too strong - is it intended?

    The Abandoned Bunker is from combat steel and xeno blocks.
    I can tunnel into the walls with an SV 1 combat steel full block destroyed per a full clip / two fixed gatling guns.
    But when my CV continually bombarded that wall with 5 30mm cannons, it was only dented.

    Also in space sometimes a plasma drone appears, and with 3 shots take down a steel CV with some hardened block reinforcements areound vital areas.

    I am not experienced, so this test may not be fine.
    What do you think?

    I've written it above, 2 versions in detail: vehicle armor.

    With v1.41 I'm getting both flamethrower and laser zirax constantly emitting the flamethrower particleso_O
    Its probably not helping the game performance any.

    Also I just found a HV/SV small O2 tank in an very rare alien loot container. What a ripoff.

    Is the space-drone killing a shielded hardened steel CV in 3 seconds fixed?
    My game is on hold since i am done on my starter planet and packed all my stuff in my new CV ready to go.
    But i wont leave until that is fixed since it will likely destroy everything i own once more...

    Well... i'll move those to the rare container then and switch out the O2 tank for a fuel tank or something.
    I might have to remove the flamethrower fire particle effect since it's very visible, but I haven't seen laser zirax producing fire. It shouldn't even be possible since it's an effect of the flamethrower weapon, which isn't referenced by the laser zirax's weapon.

    Space Drones (laser) have been changed for the next version, since that's where the problem is. There's nothing wrong with plasma drones though, so if your problems are with a plasma drone...

    No it was the laser drone (red lights all over like a rave party).. It killed the cv so fast the i heard everything explode even before the shield-bar was showing any damage.. then the shield bar was at 0 and i was in the loading screen again.

    Any idea when the next version will come then (i assume "next version" means a update of the scenario (Reforged Eden)?
    Not that i am impatient, but just so i know if i should start up my SP again to kill the waiting-time

    Hopefully some time today.
    Also nerfed the base attack drones' block damage modifiers a bit and reduced their hp by 500 (subject to change).
    Legacy Turrets and the Ammo for them will also be available from endgame legacy POIs.

    Lovely, i really enjoy all the changes/tweaks etc you have made.. You seem to be a good deal patches ahead of Eleon themselves :D
    Only thing i really miss is being able to have a deconstructor on a CV to suit my "nomadic" gamestyle.. Not that putting down a base-starter and set up a temporary deconstruct-site is such a hassle, but still... a man gotta have dreams :p

    Keep up the good work sir.. You and Ravien combined has given this game some much needed new life for me

    It funny because they were holding flamethrowers. That shot lasers.

    I'm going to test again in a fresh game tomorrow and see I can reproduce it.

    Reforged Galaxy A12 V1.42

    Changelog:

    • Updated Reforged Galaxy's Localization files with a completely new and bug-free version (thanks to Taelyn) that should now allow you to use it on servers without needing to delete the localization.
    • Reverted Flamethrower model and particle effects until 12.3 when they've been stabilized. Sorry guys.
    • Removed Epic Oxygen Booster due to a maximum count of boosters accepted by armors being exceeded. O2 is the least useful, so it had to be removed for Epic Radiation Booster to be usable in armors, which is more useful.
    • Reduced damage modifiers of base attack drones by half vs base.
    • Reduced hp of base attack drones by 500.
    • Fixed a bug where Space Laser Drones were annihilating everything in their path by being equipped with legacy-strength laser cannons.
    • Reduced damage modifier of space laser drones against shields.
    • Fixed a bug with Light Armor's durability causing it to break in 5-6 hits.
    • Added Legacy's Epic Laser Turret (CV/BA) and ammunition to Legacy Warships as loot. That's right, you can get those ultimate laser cannons for yourself now and they work in atmo for CVs.
    • Increased damage of hand drills and ship-mounted drills vs surface rocks.
    • Fixed approach distances for Flamethrower zirax so they don't just stand around while all the other zirax run to get into firing range... I hope.
    • Increased HP of player-craftable Xenosteel blocks by 1000 hp.
    • Fixed an exploit with station service prices.
    • Increased Crushed Stone chance from terrain by 50% (relative to terrain material).
    • Minor Bugfixes and Changes that I can't remember right now.
    The Localization file can be gotten from the OP of this thread. It no longer throw errors when it reaches the menu so you can stick it in your game as-is and it'll be all nice and pretty inside.
    It goes in your Empyrion/Content/Extras folder and replaces the existing one. Any update by Eleon will overwrite it, so you'll need to re-add it each time. For those using the scenario on the workshop, it'll be part of the scenario and won't be overwritten.

    As always, this update does not require you to restart your savegame.

    EDIT: I forgot to move the SV devices from the very rare loot containers to the rare. Oh well...

    OK, there's both... then I can't swear there were flamethrower Zirax shooting lasers, there may have been both types

    They don't shoot fire effects anymore anyway. I've removed that until a later version fixes the particle effects.

    Sort of like an overenthusiastic pilot light.

    That does look good. Very nice

    Question on the flight model changes.. am I missing something? Looking at the stats, CV and SV thrusters are heavily nerfed compared to vanilla, while SV block mass is increased. My builds are substantially slower on planet or in space. A lighter version of this gets about 40m/s planet, 80ish m/s space in default RG, 70m/s planet/130m/s space with vanilla ThrusterForce levels restored. Is there something I'm missing with the booster/speed?
