Description:
When the CV Laser Drill is retracted, its hatch doors disappear when viewed from a distance, and the hidden drill barrels become visible through the hull. Up close the doors are drawn correctly.
Steps to Reproduce:

1. Place a Laser Drill (CV) on a capital vessel and retract it.
2. Sit in the cockpit and switch to third-person view.
3. Use free camera rotation to look at the front of the ship where the drill is.
4. If door is still visible Zoom the camera out / move it away from the drill.

Expected: the closed hatch stays visible and covers the retracted drill.
Actual: past a certain distance the hatch doors vanish and the retracted barrels are visible.
