Im having seveal issues, some of them might be bugs or maybe its intended to be that way, but i would like answers anyway. and sorry for my bad english 1º First thing wich i think its really a bug, i´ve been working on a small ship for several days with no problems, but today when i entered the ship it kept falling at a speed of 0.2 m/s, no matter what i did i kept falling, changed core, changed cokpit, changed thrusters, spawned it 5 times, created a new world, saved it after all the changes i did and spawned it again, it kept falling at 0.2 m/s, only being able to get out of the ship when it was on the ground. I tried older ships and they work fine, staying at 0 m/s when stoping, i clearly see my ship is f*cked up and may have to start all over again, but i really wouldnt like that. 2º Second thing wich i dont know if its really a bug or inteded that way, on earlier versions of the game(like a moth ago, not a year) when you entered a cockpit it remembered the exact position you were before entering it, and when getting out you´d be on the same position. On 9.1 and 9.2 when you enter a seat and get out it expels you in a preset positon no matter wich angle, position or distance you were, resulting in cliping bugs on 99% of my ships, i get stuck incapable of moving having to destroy several parts to get out 3º This one only hapened today and on the new worlds i created today as for bug #1 mentioned above. Some strange parts kept showing up no matter how far i whent, they kept spawing and despawing new ones, they are parts of a small ship i had just created to try to stay at 0m/s when stoping ship 4º I know this isnt a bug, but would like to comment that, when you are in thrid person "free" camera mode (pressing ALT) and you roll your ship with "Q" and "E" the camera also rolls like when its not on free camera mode, i think its really dumd and do not like that at all. 5º Also know this isnt a bug and i know it has been said many times, but how come there is NO crouch option in a FPS game!!!!??????? really crappy decition on you guys Thanks in advance and sorry again for my bad english, not my native language, Love the game only hope it gets better
No worries about your english @1: Did this also happen when adding an ADDITIONAL thruster to push the ship UP? Maybe it is simply to heavy (too few thrusters pointing to the ground?) Hard to say. You might need to add the blueprint for our team to check @2: the positioning at a given slot is not a bug - but the clipping is. Will investigate @3: Doe the parts stay when you re-connect (or restart the savegame?) @4: not a bug afaik. Maybe add as a suggestion in the suggestion forum @5: Sooner or later this will be added
Thanks for the quick answers, as for issue #3 when i loaded it again it seems to have dissapeared, so we´re back to #1, i tried everything, adding 10 more thursters adding up to 124 m/s force upwards still falls at 0,2m/s, also completedly destroyed my ship and buildt new everything, stills falls to the ground. Three things i noticed, when spawning the ship it always falls to the ground, while others i spawn remain floating where you spawn them, the second most important is that even destroying all thrusters downward, having 0 m/s force i can still go down, while other ships i tried the same and i am not able to go down, infact you fly away with no way of stoping, also these thusrters (the ones that are on the top that pull you downwards) dont have the fire effect when you press "C" button, i destroyed all of them, replaced for new ones, nothing happens, still no fiery effect on none of top thrusters. I´ll upload the blueprint so you can see whats going on, i really dont have hopes for this and probably start all over again, since probably is some sort of code corruption from last night save to today morning
I chime in on the issue nr 1 Just returned to Empyrion, Alpha 9, brand new world, nothing old. I built a super small SV, only few steel blocks and all essentials fuel tank, generator, three RCSes, cockpit and thrusters in following layout: two up, two down, two left, two right, one front and one pointing rear. Experienced same issue - SV sinks. Added more and more downwards pointing thrusters - same. Now seven down thrusters for minimalistic SV and it still sinks Help plz
I had the same issue with a .2m/s downward sink. A bare bone setup. I added a piece of t2 landing gear to my sv and the ship no longer had the issue! However, when I flew it through a hanger door the same sink would return. Only after fully landing and thrusting back up would the sink leave. I did a few hours of testing and I can repeat the bug with 100% certainty. Try adding landing gear, dock inside, and launch yourself to a state of gyroscopical stable bliss!
Well, i think we found out, it really is a bug I fixed the sinking just by adding 1 landing gear, no need to dock, also, tried to remove landing gears on older vessels, and OOOpps, now they sink too at 0.2 m/s, when placing back the landing gear it stops i havent tried entering through hangar doors but if the issue perssist its good to know that docking is the answer
Can you attach the save with your character left next to the vessel just so I can have a quick look at it ? SP saves are found here: SteamLibrary\steamapps\Common\Empyrion - Galactic Survival\Saves\Games Right click on the save file & place your mouse cursor over 'Send to' create a compressed copy of it then drag & drop a copy in your reply box or use the upload a file option. If the file is too large use a file hosting site like mediafire, dropbox or google drive then add a share link to it. Thanks.
Thanks it is fixed internally. I'm not sure when the next build is going to exp with this fix. I'll update here when it is available.
