Hey, yes thats right. Those settings don't belong to the dedicated.yaml anymore. They are just allowed by the game for legacy. EAH does not write those legacy properties anymore.
Yes, the full truth. All placeable devices such as Auto Miner, Watergenerator, Portable Constructor etc. are stored in the Area files. Not in the ents.dat or somewhere else. A surface wipe affects those area files, hence they are deleted. If wipes are announced properly players will learn it. Maybe we can improve it in the future.
Stop de server. Close the tool remove the folder EPM from MODS on the server Start the tool. Start Server Try again
so having problems with this, how can i use the admin panel on a different computer. My buddy has set up the server and can use it on his end but I Cannot for the life of me figure out how to get it to slave off his so i can access the panel aswell...
Set the tool on the server to master. Fill in the ip port and pw. U need to do some portforwarding on the server. Then the tool on your pc set it on slave. Fill in the same ip port and pw restart and done
Are you maybe able to post some screens of both ends or something. We have been trying for a while and must be doinh wrong. My end im going into tool, master/slave setting, and filling that in. Its like sync password, ip and something else.
well did u fill in the same ip port and pw in the master tool? Otherwise it wont work. Plus have to portforward that port u use on the server so u can reach it from outside. Its really not that hard
The person doinh it is a programmer and cant figure it out lol. But he has a bunch of ports opened, he can use the tool, but mine will not connect no matter what i do. And their site is kinda out dated on the instructions lol. Its an amazing tool but only for him atm. Are we in the right direction? The tool setting and the master/slave tab there? And he has to set that drop down to master, but what about the password. Does he click sync password and type one then tells me? And also the other option i have no clue what its for. Its set to 0 atm think for both of us
Yup on master u set the PW and he tells u that PW and u use that PW in the slave tool. Same for the IP and port. Master sets it and u use that information on slave. What other option? The start service port? Isnt important
Alright so im in the right direction. Ill have a go at it again and see what happens. One more quick question, he runs the server himself on a seperate machine, does THAT machine have to be master? Or does his master just need to be on same net? Because he was running the tool off the computer he plays on not the one running server.
Ok so ill try to install it on servers computer and run that as master then do 2 slave setups. Ill get back to you soon let ya know if it works for me
so we tried it and nothing happened. It wont connect me to the master at all. I don't understand what we are doing wrong as this seems like it should be something simple enough to do, its why the program was even made lol I'm sure of it
either your port forwardsing isnt correct or the ip. what u can do is open 'cmd' and do a ping to the IP if it responds then u know the Ip is correct Then u also know its the port ^^
